We had several major issue with our stay. First, we booked 2 suites with full kitchens specifically because we wanted to cook meals for our children. We arrived around 8pm, checked in tired after a long trip, but found that one room (number 323) had 1)broken a/c; 2)broken dishwasher; 3) broken stove, and 4) later found out that fridge was not working properly (all of our fruits and vegetables we brought from a farmer’s market got freezer burned).
So, we tried to cook dinner at the second room that night (number 301). However, it had no dishwasher (despite hotel website description stating it does); and the stove was barely working to where we couldn’t even boil one(!) ear of corn.
We waited for total of 1,5 hours hours for the a/c to be fixed, but all the appliances were not fixed during our stay. Finally, at 10pm the manager did give us a voucher for free dinner, so at least we finally ate. This was the most unpleasant first evening of our short vacation.
The other issue was the poor condition of both rooms. There was a big ball of dark hair on the rug, leaks on the ceiling, dishes and utensils were very dirty (we had to re-wash them manually), etc. We paid $1360 for two nights and left feeling completely dissatisfied.
BTW, we saw some other rooms on the same floor that looked much cleaner and they matched the photos and descriptions on the hotel website. But somehow we didn’t get them even though we are Hilton Honor members.
