Room was spacious and clean. Staff was great. Pool was ok, definitely a great touch. Its not as crowded in the beach or boardwalk at this hotel location in comparison to the ones closer to the start of the boardwalk.

This place was great, very clean, very attentive staff. I haven't been back down that way in years. But this new owner is putting in the work with his team. The Manager fixed any issue I could possibly have and the room and beds were super comfy. I know where I'll be staying from now on while in town!

Staff was really nice and polite. Room was clean every day with clean towels and shampoo Pool was really nice clean and beautiful. Location was perfect close to the beach. Breakfast was good ( coffee, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches , juice) Owner or manager spent time with you asking do you need anything else. Just to be clear it’s not brand new motel it’s older one but everything was good. Price for the rooms was perfect. Did I mention stuff oh my goodness they are perfect

The rooms were clean, I thought there was a coffee pot. Staff were nice, basically the only thing I wasn’t happy with was the $100 room deposit, it’s been 9 days still nothing, can’t get thought on the phone. It’s a poor system getting room deposit back. Very disappointed

Eden Roc Motel was the best value that we could find on the weekend that we went. It didn't feel especially modern, and our A/C struggled to cool the room. There were a couple of other minor issues, including that the bathroom door didn't latch securely and the toilet seat was a little loose. The breakfast was pretty modest (cereal, oatmeal packets, yogurt, and packaged mini-sandwiches), but we appreciated having something. The staff were pleasant, and the outdoor pool was a nice option to have. We were glad to have a spraying station at the motel to rinse off before returning to our room to keep it from getting sandy. The location was extremely convenient to the beach, and we enjoyed a nearby restaurant. The high points of the boardwalk were a longish but doable walk to the south. Overall, our stay went fine, and we would stay here again, especially if the forecast didn't call for very hot weather.

Alot to say,#1 best deal in oc. jun thu to sun less then 500.we seen a bad review an was concerned but booked anyway. Glad we did. Our room was exactly what i paid for. Clean, comfortable to sleep, what else do you need a room for on vaca at the ocean. A place to lay your head and take a break and securely keep your stuff. Thats what i paid for. A.c worked great, tv nice, secure room, nice pool, extremely friendly staff, i dont think we encountered one of them that didnt smile and say hi or something, the owner was very professional treated us with respect. We will absolutely be returning again this year and probably next. The only thing i would say to be ready for which applies to ALL smaller hotels that dont cost 500 per night is parking is tight so maybe unload your stuff then park, there is overflow parking in the parking garage rite next to the building.
