My husband and 3 kids stayed for 8 days.
We did enjoy our stay.
The location of the condo was close enough to the beach ( 3 blocks) but far enough from the hustle and bustle of the board walk ( 25 minute drive). The pool was awesome and friendly residents. My issues are when we walked into the condo it looked like we walked in on someone else’s vacation. In fact I actually knocked on the front door in fear of walking in on someone. It was a mess. Patio was covered in pine needles, grilling equipment was left out all over the patio, dishwasher full of someone else’s dirty dishes, sandy water shoes left out, dirty tubs. On top of the fact that the coffee maker that’s listed as an amenity does not work properly. And serval lights are out through out the condo.
So my first few hours on my expensive vacation was spent cleaning so that my kids would have a clean kitchen to eat in and a clean tub to bath in. I notified costal resorts right away however, I didn’t receive a message back until SUNDAY and we checked in on FRIDAY!
The message back was very apologetic and they offered to have a cleaning crew come in to clean the issues up but by then it was 48 hours later and too late! I’m annoyed that I spent the first day of my vacation cleaning . They ended up refunding my cleaning fee. Still though, especially now more then ever in a COVID-19 world the condo should have been spotless.
My family and I did have a blast but this Property is poorly managed. I even tried dialing the emergency number they gave me and received no answer. It’s a shame because it’s a cute property and perfect location if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the main board walk. I just really wish it was better managed.
