This bay house is in a nice, very lowkey development that features a 3 minute drive to the beach. There’s a variety of food spots close by, and the boardwalk parking is about a 25 minute drive. When it comes to the house itself, it is dated, but still comes with great features. I think the best one is the deck & dock area right out the sliding glass door. But, other great things about this house include a furnished kitchen, 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Overall, this is a perfect pick for someone who’s looking for a simple, clean (as far as bugs, bathrooms, and beds), and fairly priced OCMD trip!

This was a beautiful house in a great neighborhood and the location on the bay was perfect..We had a great stay and the host is very nice.Will definitely recommend to others and will stay here again next year

Vacation on the bay

Very nice place right along the water, few little imperfections but our own house isn’t perfect either! Was perfect fit for our family we would definitely stay again. Thanks for the stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Can't beat the view! We caught crabs, crocker, perch, and 2 sting rays right off the dock! Neighbor was very friendly.

Great place

We had a great time! All the negative comments about this place are out of line. The place was clean and comfortable we had 0 problems with the property and the view is amazing! Caught a lot of fish from the pier!

Perfect sunset spot

This was our 3rd stay here. We love this location! The neighborhood is excellent; comes with 2 pools, tennis courts, fishing areas and mini golf. The location on the bay is unmatched. From the deck or the dock right outside your door, you can see various wildlife and watch the boats go by, sometimes even see a dolphin! The house has everything you need. The host is always responsive to our messages when needed. We will continue to return to this spot!

Great View!

Overall very nice stay. I had a few questions and Ellie responded right away. We also had an issue with the AC and she got it fixed as soon as I notified her. Place was not filthy as others have said. There is no maid service so you are at the mercy of how the previous guests leave it (Im sure some people dont care). For the price you can not beat it. Definitely would return.

The black mold in refrigerator and hall bathroom made them unusable and unsafe. .Rotted windowsill in master bedroom was very moldy.. Deck unsafe because of bulkhead construction. For your health do not rent!!!!!!!! Reporting to Worcester Health Dept.

Very easy to access, beautiful view, friendly neighbors. Close to attractions. Definitely will be booking again next year! Hopefully for a longer stay.

The listing clearly states linens and towels provided. 2 days before check-in she messaged me telling me to bring sheets and towels. Thank goodness we did!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used 6 candles everytime we were in the unit, 1 plug in and and 5 free standing gel air freshners! Still couldn't rid the strong mold and mildew smell. I believe it is no longer available to rent.......I can see why. Sad really, such an amazing view!! I'd love to buy it and rip it down!

TERRIBLE

We arrived at the property a little after 2. There was supposed to be two keys; however, there was 1. The first thing I looked at was the view, which was incredible. Then we started to bring our things in and saw ants all over the place. I first texted Ellie and did not get a response. I then called both numbers that she had listed and did not get an answer. I called her five times, telling her there was a problem and the place was loaded with ants. There was also extreme dirt on windows, possible mold, and applicances were dirty. I could have handled cleaning that before use, but I wont stay in a place that has bugs. Needless to say, we left! She finally returned my call when I was checking in at another place. She told me there was a bomb for that in the utility closet. I told her I was not going to rent a place that I would have to set off a bomb to stay there! I told her I contacted VRBO and my charge number and I will not pay for her rental! It was defininitely unfit for someone to stay in! Then she sent me a text and told me she would have called an exterminator and they would have come out, but I chose to leave. I told her I would not stay in a place like that Who would have cleaned up the dead bugs, ants? Not me! I told her I use to have two rentals in OCMD and I would never ever have rented my place unless it was clean for people to use. I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone staying her unless she does a lot of fixing up her place. Again the view was about the only thing I liked

Left on Sunday our reservation was till Monday. Air-conditioned was not in full capacity. Afternoon inside was 86..unexceptable. Bathroom backup too tub..very disappointing stay

Great place at the beach

This place is great! The location is amazing. Views from the deck are not to be missed. This place a ton a charm. Is this place the most up to date, fancy house? No, it certainly is not. BUT what it lacks in updates/fanciness it has character. For us, this type of beach house is just perfect. It is truly the definition of a beach house. A little dated, a bit quirky and 100% chill and relaxation. This house is like a time capsule. Imagine staying the weekend at your grandmas and she just has everything exactly as she has always had it. That is this house. We loved it so much, we have already booked another visit! So I know that there are some bad reviews of this place, however, what we encountered was just perfect for us. Everything worked as it should. Plenty of hot water when needed and cold air conditioning on some really hot days. All things considered, this is really a diamond in the rough.

DO NOT RENT THIS HOUSE!!!

I stay in ocean city twice a year and I’ve never been so disappointed. I’m not one to complain but this house was disgusting. As soon as we opened the doors the mold smell just hit us in the face. It was so bad we could not stomach eating in the house we ate out the entire time we were there. I looked for houses so we could leave but being hot rod weekend everything was booked unfortunately. Both bathrooms were dirty, stove was dirty, fridge and freezer were dirty with hair in it. The beds were so uncomfortable both my kids slept in the floor. There was a fogger sitting on the kitchen sink and there were ants all over the house. The outside was beautiful and the neighbors were friendly. They asked how we liked the house I told them it was the worse house we had ever stayed at. They said everyone complains about it being disgusting, I told them we payed $1300 for the four nights and they told us we needed to ask for half our money back. As soon as we got into the house I let the owner know it was disgusting all she could say was she was sorry I wasn’t happy. I sent her 10 photos of everything that was dirty. I then emailed her to let her know I spoke with neighbors and they told me to ask for half my money back and all she had to say was she hoped I found something better next time. We left this morning with my 4 year old son throwing up after being in the house for four nights. I don’t recommend anyone staying at this house. Also, Everything is outdated in the house the washer didn’t work , the hot water ran out after about 10 mins. I’m reporting the house to the county so hopefully no one else gets robbed of there money.

Very lovely place

We enjoyed our stay every thing in the house works. It’s an antiquated home which was perfect for us a pleasant changes Right on the water with amazing sunsets and views. Easy to get hold of owner. Would definitely go back.

There are wholes in the floors

Property owner said there soft spots on floor from being old! No there are wholes in the floor and the carpet keeps you from falling threw to the ground ! There is black mold everywhere! I’m demanding my money in return and submitting reports and doctor bills for my ankle to the Attorney General of Maryland.. this house should be reposted on your site!

You should be ashamed!

The best part of this house was the view of the bay off the deck. When we arrived there hadn't been anyone in to clean after the previous renters left. There were dirty towels in the laundry room, dishes in the sink, sand and dust all over the floors, the garbage had not been taken out and hair on the master bathroom sink. The floors in the hallway and master bedroom/bathroom were soft and felt as if we would fall right through. There was a whole in the side of the bathtub in the second bathroom. Several outlets were loose, not working or not even there. The kitchen also has structural issues that cause the floor to slope and cabinets to be unaligned. There was plumbing under the sink that was not hooked up correctly that my husband fixed while we were there. The majority of the windows were so rotten the latches were falling off and neither door closes or locks completely. And although the air conditioning unit looked fairly new, it did not keep up with the heat of the day. Temps in the hottest part of the day were easily reaching 85* in the house.
