Good view and place to stay

Overall good stay. Golden Sands is a really good place. The room was good but needed a few small repairs. Tv didn’t work in 2nd bedroom and it wasn’t a flatscreen.

Tiki time!

Love the golden sands! This was my fourth stay. We have stayed in different units each time. The tiki bar and outdoor amenities are excellent!

Nice view but not clean or updated

The blinds fall apart when you try to open them to look at the ocean. The handle in the shower falls off. The couch has yellow stains on it. Pillows were terrible. Won’t be staying there again.

Wish the internet connection was better, had to do some work while away and it was impossible to do so. Minor things could have been done to improve but overall it was a great place with a beautiful view.

No Closet Storage

You can't beat the view from the balcony and front. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The unit was very clean also. However, there was no closet storage available in either bedroom. They were packed with excess bedding, vertical blind slats, and misc. Also the kitchen was not very well appointed. Non-stick frying pans were chipped and rusting. We reported the non-functioning dishwasher and shower doors in the master off the tracks to Vacasa which was towards the end of our stay. Overall we will not be renting this unit again - sorry :(

This unit was THEE WORST UNIT we have ever stayed in at Golden Sands. The unit was a filthy disgu...

I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED NOT RENTING THIS UNIT and feel I DESERVE COMPENSATED for all we had to deal with throughout the week with LACK OF CLEANLINESS, SAFETY CONCERNS with shards of glass and chunks of glass throughout the entire unit. We pay a great deal of money for this vacation and shouldn’t have to worry about cleanliness and safety concerns with stepping on glass ALL WEEK LONG and the DISGUSTING SOILED COUCHES AND BEDDING. Also, the balcony furniture was unusable. The chairs were rusted out and the leg of the table was broken and unusable as well. We pay a great deal of money for a beautiful ocean view and were unable to use our balcony at all throughout the entire week. DO BETTER VACASA.

I wouldn’t even give 1 star if I had the choice. The moment we opened the door it was already a disappointment. The plate was broke on the door, took 2 days to get it fixed. Stained couch and carpets. Whoever cleans the home needs fired. There was trash in the garbage can without even a trash bag. Dishwasher full of dishes, the last thing I wanted to do as soon as I got into my rental was put away dishes and clean up garbage? Like wtf? I was supposed to get a call within 50 mins about that situation and didn’t even get a call back until a day and a half later. Sorry I wasn’t sitting in the beach house for them to come back to scrub carpets that should’ve been done before we even arrived. Then the day before departure our door again had an issue and we were trapped inside our room literally. Had to wait an hour in the room and for it to get fixed on the nicest day of our vacation. The broom was broken so I couldn’t even clean up sand and the vacuum barely worked too, I had to sweep up the whole house with only the hose part of the vacuum. No one answers the phone at the front desk/lobby of the golden sands condo either.

Beautiful view!

Loved the view! The AC unit didnt work and it was 80 degrees. Also was a few vertical blinds missing in master bedroom allowing sunlight to come through in the AM. Owner needs to fix these issues before renting again.
