Great Spot!
We stopped here as a midway point on a road trip and it was a great place to stay for a night in Ocean Grove. Conveniently located near the beach and not far from Asbury Park. Would definitely recommend!

We were in Ocean Grove for an overnight. We saw a band perform in Asbury Park, and this was a great spot, close to the foot bridge and the boardwalk. Super clean, very intimate!

Success!!
My husband and I stayed a few days and we were impressed on many levels. The place was charming, cozy and clean. We enjoyed the perfect location with views of the lake and ocean. Less than 2 blocks from the ocean and boardwalk. The neighborhood was quiet, yet we were a short walk to the lively Asbury Boardwalk. We loved sitting out on the porch to take in the views. The refrigerator in the room was a nice, useful touch for beach goers. We will be back!

A bit small
It was a cute house, but not what we thought at all. No coffeemaker, (thankfully I always travel with my own)very tight quarters, very hard to navigate all the stairs after having knee surgery, very loud creaky floors made it hard to be non distracting for others. A bit far from the ocean for my liking, and looked much closer online. Was very easy to communicate with managers and were very responsive. We left early to get home. Very clean and comfortable bedding. But I guess we are hotel type people that get more from convenience with all the amenities.

Just what you need.
My husband and I got away for a couple of days and the property was perfect for that. The room was clean and they provided coffee and a microwave plus there was a fridge in the room. We had a nice two night get-a-way. The location is perfect for the beach, downtown Asbury Park or the boardwalk. Everything with within a 10 minute walk.

Cute place by Asbury Park
This was a cute place near Asbury Park, less than 10 minute walk. The listing was a little misleading as you only get a bedroom and bathroom as your private space. The living room and balcony are common spaces. We didn't see very many people so it really wasn't an issue.

Bliss at the Beach
This property is in a great location. Only a couple blocks from the sunny beach / boardwalk as well as adjacent to a shady park overlooking a lake. It also is ideally situated directly in between 2 different neighborhoods (Ocean Grove or Asbury Park) for shops / restaurants within walking distance. As for the space itself, the room was well maintained and tastefully decorated. Provided for a quiet refresh after day at the beach (A/C works great) and night out for dinner (bed is comfortable). Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfy
Great location with proximity to beach and AP. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking is very limited in the high season. We parked several blocks away, though we were able to unload our stuff at the inn.

Sweet cozy place, fantastic location.
Was very happy with our stay. The location was ideal. The customer service was incredible, great communication throughout the whole booking process! The room was fresh in decor, nothing better than simple wooden furniture and white linens. Though the room was on the smaller size, there was Nothing stuffy about it at all. Very clean. The only drawback I could even think about was the location of the tv in the room. At night we always enjoy laying in bed to watch some tv, having it placed to the side was a bit awkward to watch, much better to perhaps be placed onto the wall in front of the bed on a wall bracket ? I’m just being picky here lol nothing really to complain about at all. Loved our stay! Thank you so much :)

Well Located on a Quaint Street
The Melrose is a pleasant launching pad for Asbury Park attractions. The common porches are great for relaxing after a day of beach or boardwalk fun. Be aware that Ocean Grove, where the property is located on the border of Asbury Park, is a dry town with Sunday morning beach restrictions. Stay here, play in Asbury Park.

Very clean and cute little space!
Didn’t have to face a single stranger for check-in or during our stay. Water was HOT and perfect for baths. They even had a mini fridge! Comfy, small, and clean.
