Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 3 adult couples shared this house over Christmas. We had a wonderful stay...spent time at the near-by beach, prepared big meals in the well-stocked kitchen, shopped at the local markets and art venues, explored and hiked the Long Beach Peninsula, played shuffleboard at Doc's pub, soaked in the hot tub. One of our favorite vacation rentals.

Great house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. Reviewer Comments: This is a large and spacious home with anything you could need for your stay. Very close to the beach and the area was quiet and relaxing while we were there in early May. We forgot our baby monitor and they shipped it to us the next day. Great customer service.

Something for Everyone

Having two houses gave our extended family plenty of room spread out. The teens and younger liked to hang out in the game room with the pool table and the video game machine. All of us gathered in the big house's theater for movie nights. We used the firepit in the yard for roasting hot dogs and smores. The dog loved running around the fenced yard. Our only complaint would be that the yard and the kid toys in the yard have run down since we were there two years ago. The swing set, tunnel and playhouse all need renovation, and the sand boxes, gardens and patio need to be weeded. Even so, this is our favorite place to stay in Ocean Park/Long Beach. Not only is there something for everyone to enjoy, but being able to walk to Jack's Country Store, restaurants and the beach makes it the perfect location!

Alright

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home had at stench when we first walked in. My cousin is allergic to dogs and immediately noticed that their was a dog smell. I wish it was more announced that dogs stay at the property because that would’ve been a deal breaker, off the bat. We also noticed a lot of dog hairs. We had 4 babies under 2, so cleanliness was a priority for us but it wasn’t up to par.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I love it when descriptions and pictures accurately portray a rental house. And I am so grateful when expectations are exceeded. Our three small families (6 adults, 2 children) made this our home for a week. The accommodations allowed each family to have their space and for all of us to enjoy the wonderful amenities such as the large dining room table around which all of us fit, the well-stocked kitchen where we prepared 90% of our meals and the great selection of toys with which our two grandchildren played. The wrap-around porches provided outside pleasure when we were not at the beach just over the hill. The laundry was a necessity and located so perfectly at the back of the house. Our adult children relished the hot tub at the end of the day. Access to the beauty of the peninsula was what drew us to this house and we traveled the 28 miles in both directions taking in the natural beauty as well as the convenience of Jack's Market (multiple trips), Adelaides Bookstore (an oasis of peace), Coastal Corners (delicious produce, bread and wines), and the kite store (thanks, Ron, for your expertise). We were %100 satisfied.

Great spot for a large group

The location is perfect, just a quick walk to the beach. They also had everything we needed for a great gathering. The kitchens were fully stocked, there were several activities to keep us entertained, and the dogs were well taken care of

Amazing

Our family and extended family gets together 1 to 2 times a year and this year we chose here. The accommodations were better than we expected and the house was completely stocked with everything we needed and things that we didn’t even realize that we needed. Great communication and such a beautiful location. I recommend this location to anyone and everyone. We will definitely be back !!!!!!!

we loved the amount of bed rooms and bath rooms. beds could use updated were pretty uncomfortable. very nicely stocked for everything you would want for towels, pans, chairs, the outside grounds had so many sticker weeds that the kids and the two little dogs had several in their feet the kids sand with swing and the volleyball court. The house is very convent to the beach and the little stores in town. Overall great place

Spring Break on the coast

Wonderful time at coast with family. House was well cared for, well stocked and very clean. Proximity to beach is wonderful. Hope to come back soon and would rent this home again.

What a great place!

The kids loved the pool table, the ping pong table, and the standing video game. The dogs loved the short walk to the beach. And the grown-ups loved the well organized and well stocked kitchen as well as the ability to sneak away for an afternoon nap. Everyone was happy with the place and we are all hoping we'll make it back again.

Family Gathering

The configuration of this property was perfect for our family group. The large fenced yard was great because we had two dogs and two small children. Most of the furnishings are a bit worn, for us that was fine. The downstairs queen bed in the guest house was noisy and uncomfortable. The kitchens were extremely well stocked. The hot water heater in the main house is very small, likely because of concerns about overloading the septic system. So showers and baths need to be staggered. The living room is small so it’s difficult to gather a large group in one place. Overall we were happy with the rental

Great group getaway!

This property was a great spot for our family to get away for a weekend, but would also be amazing for a much larger group. It's a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The yard was perfect for letting our dogs get some energy out, and the playground was fun for the kids. Our only complaint is that the property must struggle somewhat with ants. We were not leaving food out for any length of time, and yet found some in the kitchen.

It had all the dishes you would ever need. There was something for everyone at the house. We totaled 9 people and we still had beds to go. We left to go to Tillamook and I forgot my purse outside on the table, I called the number and this very nice lady answered the phone. I told her what I did and she told me that she would go and put it in the house. She save our trip.I would highly recommend this place for your next trip. We will be back.

What an awesome place!!

Loved staying so close to the beach - just a quick walk away. Couple of good food and coffee options around. And we cooked in this very well appointed kitchen. The folks really thought through everything that could be needed. Only suggestion would be to add a cover above the hot tub. Lovely week long stay.

New Years at the Beach

The dining table was big enough for 10 and there was counter seating for the rest of us. It was nice to have a fireplace. The beach was a block away and easy to walk to. In summer, the outdoor space would have been awesome! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Kids & us adults loved the arcade you added! Fun! And thank you so much fo the gate you added to the porch! It was so much easier packing our stuff and I’m keeping the dogs from running off with that nice gate! So pleased! I have only one suggestion at this time. Some kind of shelves or extra counter space to put all our food. Etc. thank you! See ya next year or maybe sooner ...ps so convienient to restaurants & store.

Bay Street in Ocean Park

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: were unable to stay at the mansion so they moved us to Bay St in Ocean Park. Nice place but not what we Wanted. One bed was dirty with animal & human hair & glitter. One toilet kept running, set off the septic alarm. Had to keep the lid off the toilet to manually flush. Back yard was full of glitter & cigarette butts like there had been a party. When you pay this much for a place, I expect it to be clean & everything working. This is the 3rd time we've stayed at Bloomers & this is the 1st time we've been disappointed. A change of ownership?

Birthdaypalooza!

We have 4 birthdays within 9 days in August, and like to bring all of the extended family together to celebrate. It is sometimes difficult to find a suitable place for all 9 adults and 5 kids to stay together. This filled the bill, and the large kitchen and dining area were great for us. Proximity to the beach was paramount!
