「Before Salt Hotel and Pub opened or reopened(?) we only thought of Ilwaco as a fishing stop. Now for us it’s a destination! Great food and drinks at the pub, cozy comfy rooms, minutes from Long Beach and Astoria. Highly recommend!」

「Cabin had jetted tub built in the corner. The faucet to the tub was loose but worked properly. The property had a game hall that included lots of games available to the hotel guests and bicycles to get around town. Staff was friendly. Cabin was clean. 」

「No check in desk required; you get a text with your room number and door code. So easy and quick, The person who sent me my text was great, helpful and offered early access to my room. I loved it. Room is clean and nicely done with electric fireplace, mini frig, microwave and coffee. I found the bed comfortable. You are literally steps away from the jetty and the viewing tower. I loved my stay. 」

「Was perfect for our needs and wonderful to have a dog friendly place with pet sheets and towels. Great location and ease of check-in and check-out... Will be repeat visitors. Note to future guests: take short showers, as the water is hot but not for multiple long showers. 」
