Bear Trap Dunes - Willow Oak

The house was very open and roomy. Neighborhood was quiet. Staff at the pool/recreation area was rude and snobby. Master bed was hard as a board.

Lovely week in Bear Trap Dunes

We had a great week at 184 Willow Oak Avenue. There were five adults. The house was exceptionally clean upon our arrival. We love to stay in Bear Trap. The house was comfortable and pretty. The only reason I did not give five stars was because there was no gas grill as promised, only a charcoal one, which I chose not to use for my chicken. Also, the house could use some more lighting, especially in the master bedroom. The bathrooms were well lit though. Beautiful sunsets from the back porch. Would stay again.

Beautiful development

Overall, we had a nice stay. The cleanliness upon arrival was an issue that was resolved however some maintenance was never addressed (light in the master shower needed replacing). The grill, living room furniture and area rugs need replacing and some mattresses are rock hard, beach decor would be awesome but that’s my opinion. The development is beautiful, distance from the beach was nice and my husband loved the golf course so that’s a plus.

Don’t pick this one!

There are many issues with this home. It shows no pride of ownership! Not enough seating..beds so high you need to pole vault into them!..not well maintained…limited amenities….TVs not all functioning properly…no beach chairs provided….no book of guidelines for the use of the home….no TV channel guides….and others.

Clean and comfortable

the house was very clean when we arrived. Check in was easy as was access to the house. The neighborhood is safe and many people walked or biked the area. Easy access to the main road.

Nice small place. Great location

We only used the downstairs stairs area but the house sleeps 8 or 10. The chairs only accommodate up to 4 people. It’s clean, with sparse amenities, in a great neighborhood on a golf course.

Nice stay

I would recommend this property, it worked well for a long weekend. The fifth bedroom is basically where a dining room would be and does not have a full wall separating it from the kitchen and living area. Overall our group of eight really enjoyed it but I think might have been to small for a week.
