Wonderful stay at this spacious, comfortable home!

Family Friendly Home

Great home and great location. Just needs tvs in the kids room with cable service and not just dvds. Beds are very uncomfortable, may want to invest in mattress toppers. Otherwise , gray family vacay.

good not great

Not all details seem apparent about this rental- no washer/dryer; no extra TP; large flight of stairs to get into property (need a pic of) and pool costs should be daily or offered to be included in rental cost. Place was clean and comfortable, great location to beach, boardwalk, restaurants and more. We would stay again but with the understanding of what's ahead.

THIS IS A SECOND FLOOR UNIT

We had a lovely time here but this is a second floor unit and does not have baby gates for either set of steps. Everything was very clean and in working order. The mattress in the master bedroom was hard as a rock. Screened in back porch and deck were lovely to sit on. Overall, we had a wonderful experience but felt misled about what type of unit we were getting.

83F October Glory

Nice quiet neighborhood, close to all beaches, restaurants, grocery stores. Convenient location to explore both Delaware & Maryland’s coastlines. This unit was clean & spacious. The flight of stairs to get into the unit was a little challenging with luggage & groceries but manageable. The owner might consider purchasing new mattresses. After the first night we quickly found Walmart & spent $139.00 on a thick mattress topper knowing we would be sleeping there for 2 weeks. That is the only reason I can’t give this home 5 stars.

Needs additional working TVs

This was my second year booking 83F October Glory and I still like the unit. This year I noticed it did not have as many kitchen utensils as last year which on some days made it hard to cook. Also I reiterate my suggestion from last year that it needs an additional TV in the second bedroom and a working TV in the loft. Overall I still recommend renting this unit.

Needs improvement

The community was very nice & friendly. The house itself needs several updates. Multiple chairs were broken - my son fell when he sat in one (he’s 125 lbs so not overweight). The bathrooms were not clean .. showers were moldy. Mattress n master bedroom only had flat sheet and the mattress was stained. The rear balcony was not properly cleaned so it was not useable. We would stay in the community again but not in the house unfortunately. The WiFi was ok and the freezer made ice!

We love this place

I love this place. The location was perfect, the kitchen had everything that I needed to cook for my boys. I love sitting outside in the enclosed deck. My oldest one loved the loft. The only problem that I had is that in the main bedroom, the bed was not comfortable and made squeaking noises. But in general, we are happy with this place. I will rent it again.

It was good

We liked the where it was located. The inside of the unit was very clean. There was more than enough room for all 5 of us to be comfortable all week. Things that werent so comfortable, were... The bed in the master bedroom, was very hard, to the point we had to buy a mattress topper. Master bedroom had a TV, an out dated one, the kids room didn't have a real TV, just a DVD style TV, the second bedroom didn't have a TV at all.. the showers were dated.. all and all it wasn't a bad week and we left, glad, that we stayed there.

Great property and location!

We’ve stayed at Bear Trap Dunes before and really appreciate the location, cleanliness of the area and general amenities. This condo was very nice, plenty of space and at a glance, very clean. However, it had a bit of an ant problem during our stay. We bought our own cleaning products and definitely left it cleaner than we found it! We were a little bummed at how little of the “extras” were provided; some locations we’ve stayed in will offer spices, cleaning products, trash bags, or even pool toys, beach accessories, Keurig brewing pots or a grill, but this location had none of these things. Still nice, just needed to provide many of our own items.

Great stay!

This is a fantastic property that is well appointed and a beautiful view. It was very quiet, relaxing and so clean inside! The decor was very nice and it was an easy stay. I rented to have a "staycation" and work, and it was perfect for that!

Perfect for a Quick Getaway

Photos are accurate, great location and super easy to walk over to the golf course and grab a drink/dinner. Look forward to staying in the neighborhood again in the future!

Lovely Stay!

We stayed a few nights at this lovely home in Bear Trap. This was our first experience at this location and it was terrific. The home was spotlessly clean, spacious, nicely appointed and quiet - just what we needed. There was plenty of parking and we appreciated the easy to follow directions to get into the house. What was not mentioned in the listing was the stairs - as soon as you walk in, you’ll climb steep stairs which will bring you to the dining area. This did not hamper our stay and we would definitely reserve this home again - but it would have been nice to know. Highly recommend!

I love Bear Trap Dunes and have vacationed in various condos since 2018. I really liked 83 F October Glory and I hope to rent it again next year. My one recommendation is that the owners should consider adding a TV in the second bedroom downstairs. Thanks for a great vacation.
