We loke staying in the cabins, always clean and the staff is great. Check in is always quick and easy. The breakfast was disappointing. They have a good spread but the juice was warm and the eggs are weird.

Ogallala cabin
We arrived before the check-in time. Was not able to check-in until that time. Had to find something to do until then. The cabin was clean, but there was trash out by the parking. Cleaned it up myself. Overall a good experience.

Although the cabins are more in a parking lot than by a peaceful pond as the photos show, this is a clean place to stay with all the amenities.

Pros and cons
Mixed review, but I would stay there again. I stayed in one of the cabins in the back, which I do enjoy. The bed is pretty terrible and that it's a hill and a valley. The air conditioner was running of course because it was about 100° out but it was very moldy and so I started to have some allergies. Thankfully later at night I was able to open both windows and get a wonderful breeze. I will honestly say the best thing is that their coffee in the morning was exceptionally good! And I am picky... So all things put together, I would stay there again.

The individual cabins are cozy and clean. However, this area has a lot of noise. I would suggest staying in a hotel.

Bed is sunk in the middle when you lay down. And lots of bugs in the cabin. But everything else was great!

The amenities listed swimming options - not at location but close. That was a need as we were traveling with our grandchildren. We asked for the key to the rec center and front desk gave it to us with address. Went there and the recreation center pool was closed for the summer.

Don't stay here
I would not recommend staying here. There was nowhere to allow our dogs to go to the bathroom accept a small grass area that was full of trash like bottle caps and cigarette butts. In order to get to it we had to walk accross an area with sharp rocks and thorns. The thorns stuck to our dogs feet so we had to carry them accross it. The "lake' is more like a swamp that smelled like sewage. The restaurant had garbage piled up around it in back. I don't know how this place passes inspections.

The stay was just what we needed as we were moving from Illinois to Wyoming and had three dogs and a cat, one of which was a Graat Dane! Plenty of room and rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to stop if your making a long drive going west.

Perfect for traveling with dogs
Very nice, clean cabins. Kennel came in handy. Right by grassy area for dogs. Just far enough off the interstate for very little road noise. Within walking distance of restaurants.

Cute little cabin, right off the interstate. Very pet friendly and the lake/pond is nice..has a larger fridge then most hotels. The front porch off each cabin is nice to sit on and drink coffee in the a.m..Just 2 warnings that did not bother my stay, is there is pretty big steps to get up to cabins, there is a ramp thu, and spotty wireless but that was fine.. there is a good amount of cable channels and room was clean..Will stay agine !!

Very nice place, clean, cozy. Outside recently updated. It is a cabin, no kids upstairs or newlyweds next door. Being in a recreational area and very pet friendly, they do get used! Not beat up, very clean, but people spill things on the floor. Some stains do not come out. I will stay again.
