"This place was excellent! Me and a few coworkers had a big project to take on that took a couple weeks. This place made us feel like we never left our homes. To be able to relax, cook dinner and have our own private rooms was perfect. Gayla, was an awesome host with simple instructions for checking in and out. Could not ask for a better host. I certainly would use this property again for any extended stays."

"Chinaberry Cottage was a lovely remodeled cottage just off the beaten path. The inside and outside was immaculate. It was perfect for a family. Everything for a home away from home was provided. The "kiddos" loved that they had a TV in their room and so many more pillows than at home. The fenced area was perfect for children. The host gave immediate responses. Lovely and relaxing! Absolutely perfect!"

"This place was spacious for our group of three ladies. Easy commute to the Expo Center in Belton, where our activities were and the restaurants in Killeen. Neighborhood was quiet. The yard has nice grass, although the morning watering made the grass very soggy. If you have a very small dog, watch the fence, as they can get out under the openings. The 4 star rating on cleanliness was given because the Property Manager needs to watch how the place is being cleaned and stocked - there were bugs...

As we stay in rentals fairly often, I really appreciated the attention to detail…like labeling light switches and having coffee and the fixings supplied. The master bathroom is a beautiful piece of artwork in itself- with the two person stand up shower AND the two person tub. "Beautifully renovated home with everything you need for a nice stay. We really loved watching the cardinals and squirrels in the backyard and being able to cook a meal in the kitchen. The master bedroom bed is comfortable but don't plan on sleeping in the middle as there is a hump. I gave 3 stars for cleanliness because it was clean enough but the bathroom was not fully clean - faucet, makeup mirror and the wall behind the sink were all dirty.
