We love the Cove. Have had my eye on this adorable cottage for years and finally did it! Views are beautiful. So much fun to step out our door and be near food, shops, and the Marginal Way. Everything we needed was in the house. Thank you!

Perkins Cove Gem
I have had my eye on this property for years and it was always booked! Dates opened up and I grabbed a weekend. You can not beat the location. We arrived and parked our car and walked everywhere! The unit makes terrific use of its limited space. The small kitchen functions beautifully and includes a full size fridge. There is a bathroom on this "living" level. It's tight but functional and includes a very small stand up shower. The loft upstairs is spacious and it includes a gas fireplace. We were lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. Take note, you must descend the stairs in the middle of the night if you have to go to the bathroom. The lower level has an ensuite set up. There is a deck with a table and 4 chairs. Unfortunately, we were able to sit there and use two comfy Adirondack chairs for about 3 hours. The glorious weather shifted soon after our arrival and we had a weekend of rain, wind and chilly temperatures. I love a good storm, but not a weekend of inclement weather!!! We prepared and still walked everywhere in our rain gear. We enjoyed steamed lobsters from the Footbridge Cafe and took our meals across the street to the house to consume. We walked Marginal Way, snagged a table at The Front Porch Piano bar, ate a phenomenal meal at That Place and enjoyed a dinner at Maine Catch.We cooked all our breakfasts in, which saved money! If Mother Nature had cooperated, it would have been an 11 out of 10, instead, we had to settle for a 10 out of 10!

WOW ... just WOW !!
Great location with stunning views. Property was perfect and within walking distance to all our favorite places. Jason was super responsive and reached out to insure we were on track and to check if we needed anything. HIGHLY recommended !!

Beautiful Property
The property was beautiful, very clean, welcoming and well decorated space. Communication with the property manager was wonderful, even notified us that the property was ready early and we were able to check in early!! Only complaint was the parking. Only one space available for parking was tough when traveling with another couple. Other than that, no complaints!!

Excellent property.
Right in Perkins Cove, walking distance to many restaurants, boat rides and Marginal Way is 5 minute walk from house. Ogunquit Village is about a 5 minute ride or about 20-25 minutes walking. Great private deck for sitting and relaxing. Excellent communication from host. We will definitely rent again if we return to Ogunquit.

Perfect Spot
This little gem, located right in the heart of Perkins Cove, was the perfect spot for a romantic getaway during the off season. We loved everything about it. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and more. Our favorite place to eat, the Lobster Shack, was just a stone's throw away, as was the Marginal Way where we walked everyday. The views from our bedroom were breathtaking. We would definitely like to return, hopefully for a longer stay next time.

High quality rental in World Class location!
The location, actually in Perkins Cove, and part of the community of restaurants, shops, and the sea port is truly unique and stunning in its views. The quality of the rental is first class and deserving of the location, with super easy check in, check out, and communication. Of course, there are plenty of things to do and places to visit in and around the area, but honestly there is so much within a 2 minute walk you don’t ever really have to leave the Cove (just keep in mind the seasonality of the businesses). Will definitely come back to stay again!

Wicked Awesome Stay!
I took my mom and dad to Maine and stayed in this amazing place with an amazing view. The location was right next-door to a beautiful restaurant and lots of shopping. My dad was able to buy lobsters cheap right off the boats within a one minute walk.The place was clean and the owner was very responsive and kind. We loved every single thing about our stay there.

Amazing Place
There were four of us staying at this oceanfront cottage, which was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. Had planned on cooking (brought groceries, coffee, etc.). Did not cook or make our own coffee once. Immediately next door (as in, wake up and head straight downstairs in your pajamas), was a friendly little coffee shop, JAVA, where we got our coffee every morning. Abundance of restaurants to walk to. Got takeout a few times and dined on patio facing the ocean, because the view cannot be beaten! Marginal way right nearby - walked it every morning. Thank you to a very responsive and accommodating host, Jason. Could not have asked for a better place to stay!

Awesome stay
The property was a great location. We walked everywhere. Jason was great by calling back right away if I had a question. The stairs were a bit difficult for a few because of age, but we made it work.

Great vacation house, great location!
Loved our stay. Excellent location - right in Perkins Cove in the front, and the water in the back. Lovely decor, very clean, well equipped kitchen, very responsive owner. No need to drive! Walk the marginal way, walk to all the shops and restaurants, and the candy store is a few doors down, our kids' fav place. Highly recommend, we'll be back!

Perfect Get Away on the Ocean
The owner was wonderful! He was good about checking with us after we booked the unit, in advance of our trip, and just before checked in. He was very personable and helpful. The unit, in the heart of Perkins Cove, was immaculate, beautiful, and well appointed. It was an ideal location to recharge our batteries! We are already looking forward to our next trip!

Great 4 day get-away
Fantastic location. Charming interior. We stayed in early December and all was cozy...no crowds, right on the water, walks along the shore, easy distance for exploring other Maine coast towns of note. Highly recommended!

Greek cottage, great Cove
This was the perfect spot for the perfect vacation. This cottage is perfectly nestled among the many businesses and residences that make up Perkins Cove. Just 50 feet away from our favorite lobster shack, we enjoyed eating lobster on our private deck overlooking our secluded little beach. Jason our Host was ever so helpful and kind. He is well-connected with Community and shared information about some lovely musical events. The accommodations were great!

Wonderful spot in Perkins Cove
We had a great stay at this property! Weather was gorgeous so we spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the fantastic view of the ocean. You step off the deck and you’re on the sand! Location in Perkins Cove was a huge plus. Unit was well appointed with tasteful decor and comfy beds. Very clean! Jason was a pleasure to deal with. Very responsive to questions we had before checkin. Highly recommend this spot to explore all Ogunquit has to offer.

My Happy Place
Ogunquit has been My Happy Place for quite some time now, but Cove Cottage goes beyond. It feels like your own private corner in The Beautiful Place by the Sea. You are both in the midst of everything OGT and Perkins Cove has to offer, while also being blissfully separate. I’ve already snapped up my weeks for next season. The PERFECT getaway
The BEST experience EVER! Jason was simply incredible! The condo is beautifully decorated; the beds were very comfortable; spa towels in the bathrooms; convenient kitchen with everything you need; location in Perkins Cove was fabulous...right on the beach; and clean, clean, clean! And oh the VIEWS!! Just breathtaking. It was simply perfect!! Can't wait to come back! (Jason also owns the Abalonia Inn, located in Ogunquit. We stayed there for the 2nd time the night before check in at The Cove Cottage, and once again, it didn't disappoint. Two great properties!!)

Gorgeous cottage literally steps from the ocean!
This little cottage is the perfect off season get away. It's just steps from the waves at high tide and the Marginal Way. The interior is immaculate and furnished comfortably. We loved it and will for sure be back for another stay!

Perfect little cottage. Great location. Wonderful views.
Perfect for two people. The setting is ideal.... quiet beach out the back, and convenient shopping and dining out the front. Especially advantageous because one doesn't need to drive (it's bumper to bumper with everyone trying to find a parking space). And a parking space right in front of the house for one car that can be left there all day.

Stunning Place :) (Very Clean)
Absolute perfect escape !! We relaxed by the fire place not to mention relaxing in bed watched television and keep warm by the fire and looking at the ocean out the window.. Ideal for both my husband and I.. I will tell my co worker about this place.. Thanks for allow us to enjoy!!

OMG We loved this cottage - Right on the ocean. Very private
We have been coming for years and never dreamed of staying right on the ocean in our own cottage on a private beach. We didn't know the Perkins Cove Cottage even existed! We were about to spend a little less for another place, and we are so glad we spent the extra money as it was so worth it. The bedrooms are nicely separated, the kitchen and living room are small, but really flow well. The internet (important for my job) was spot on and very fast. Surprisingly, the location is actually really quiet at night. We have decided to make this our annual retreat. We work too hard not to treat ourselves to this wonderful place every year!

Great Space to Escape City Life
I want to take this time to thank you both for allowing Tom and I to enjoy your beautiful home. I have rented many places throughout the years. I would have to say that this was my number one pick. The common space with fireplace allowed us relax and enjoy this beautiful home. Most important the property was very clean and you can tell that the owner pays attention to detail!!! Location of the property was ideal with one of Ogunquit top restaurant MC Perkins within minutes of the house. We recommend the house burger and homemade fries. We didn't want to leave but we are looking forward to our next visit... Sue

An Absolute Amazing Stay!!
We wish we could of stay here longer but will be back very soon. This is the third time that my girlfriend and I have rented this property with another couple. We absolutely enjoy this property and will tell all our friends. The short travel from Boston allowed us to escape and enjoy playing games and making a nice meal at this comfortable home. I can't forget the mention the amazing ocean view and location in the heart of Perkins Cove..

I can only say wonderful things regarding this house rental.. We arrive to this house with a bottle of wine and welcome card waiting for us. The owners attention to detail could not have been better. I was completely satisfied with the property and plan to return.

Great Location but this apartment is not comfortable
Study this unit carefully. The view and location are wonderful; however, there is no bathroom on the upper level with the master bedroom making you have to go down steep stairs at night. The bathroom for that bedroom is on the main level and it is very very small. The lower level bedroom has a big bathroom but has no furniture or TV , just has a bed. That bedroom's closet is under the stairs causing many hits in the head. There is not any seating for four inside this unit. All meals and socializing must be done on the deck - rain or shine. It is possible for two people to stay here and make these quirks work but for more than that it just is not comfortable.

Thank you for taking time to write your review. The reason that we receive so many positive reviews is that we try to undersell the property so guests feel pleasantly surprised when they arrive. I wish you felt the way other guests have felt and expressed on their reviews. Had you informed us of your inability to walk up stairs we would have graciously explained this may not be the right place for you and the many different family members that stayed you. I am a little surprised that you did not notice the other furniture in the room downstairs, which of course has a night stand, bureau and separate area to put your luggage. Both closets are full sized and you would only hit your head if you were inside the closet. There are two bathrooms in the house. As you stated, one is very large, the other smaller. You are right that the views and location simply cannot be beat. Every room has a direct unobstructed ocean view and the location is quiet yet still remains in the center of everything. It’s Perkin’s Cove secret that it is actually very quiet and peaceful on the ocean side and during the mornings and nights. While we wish you enjoyed your stay more and agree we are not handicapped accessible, we totally appreciate that while the location and views are great.
