“We were at Scenic Ridge Guest House for our family "Thanksmas". This home is so much better than the listing let's on. The hosts met us at the property with the keys and to welcome us. There is plenty of space for the kids to play outside or in the "center". The corn hole game was very much enjoyed and the kids played air hockey continuously. Multiple games, videos and books were available to use. The fire pit is a nice gathering spot in the evening. The home was clean and well furnished……

“It's an old Victorian mansion converted to a hotel, felt a bit like a B&B. Beautiful old building with a nice parlor that we enjoyed, way more interesting than the usual boring motel/hotel. They have a wine bar downstairs in the afternoons which is fun. Location is great with excellent restaurants, pubs, and bakeries nearby. It's a bit loud outside on weekend nights but we turned on the AC fan and slept great. Our room's carpet was kind of old, maybe it's time to replace it... otherwise……

"We stayed for two nights from September 23 to September 25. It was raining and very cold during those days. When we arrived at the hotel, we found that there was no hot water in the bathroom. We reported the issue on the first day, but no one responded, so we had to take cold showers. As a result, both of us caught a bad cold and completely lost our voices. On the second day, we tried turning the water to the hottest setting and letting it run for 10 minutes, but only got some lukewarm water. In such cold weather, it was still very uncomfortable to bathe. When we checked out, I reported the problem again, but the front desk staff didn’t give me any response. This was truly terrible, I couldn’t even speak for those days because I lost my voice! This was supposed to be a trip we had been looking forward to, and I was also excited to stay at this hotel. But in the end, our trip to Cincinnati was completely ruined by the cold and the illness."
