“Max and his wife are fantastic, caring amd interesting people who treat you like family. Max is supremely knowledge of the area, the dinning options and activities available. He is responsive and helps you book and facilitate everything. The place is clean centeral and has the great vibe of staying with family. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The coffee is divine. This is one of the best places i have stayed at in a long time. I highly recommend Mavi.”

“We stayed in this hidden gem for 2 nights with another couple. We rented a Superior Villa with a kitchenette and 2 bedrooms but upon arriving we were surprised to see that it was a lot smaller than the photos led us to believe. It would be better for a family then 2 couples as the bedroom with the double bed only had a privacy curtain. Both rooms were open above the door so that the AC which is only in the single beds room, could cool the entire villa. We did not eat there, which is good because……

“We ended our first trip to Costa Rica, in Uvita, at Nature's Edge. We travelled the Pacific Coast, but it wasn't until we got to Uvita that we experienced the true jungle. Nature's Edge is tucked away about 2 miles up a steep road (you truly do need a 4x4 to access it, but we had a little AWD Suzuki, that we put in manual mode, and that did the trick just fine). Once you turn into the property you pass the first two casita's on your left, and if you're lucky, you booked one of the lower casitas……

Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et le personnel gentil. ce fut un séjour parfait. De plus, la chambre est très bien équipée. Frigo, internet, séchoir, mouchoirs, eau froide pour boire et bien d'autres petites attentions en plus d'un lit très confortable.”

“Clean modern room, best shower in Costa Rica at this pricepoint. Fast wifi with excellent coverage. No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. We stayed for two nights when day time temps were in the upper 80s on the beach, and we were very comfortable at altitude with the breezes from the ocean. The host, Lori, is a gem. The property is gorgeous and meticulously well kept. You will get full use of your rental car's 4x4 on the road to……

“Beautiful setting. Pond with foliage all around. A bit secluded though. Rooms were amazing. Open spaces in room & large shower area. You can definitely hear the jungle. It felt like glamping in the jungle. The breakfast was delicious & homemade. At your convenience as well. Wish there was meat though. Hosts were lovely & friendly. Very accommodating. The price equals what you receive. It was a bit costly though if you are on a budget. Lots of positives including amenities!”

“Jessica the owner was so helpful and amazing customer service. The place is wonderful and infinity pool was great. She also advised us places to visit which were really helpful. Jessica was always there when you need her. Plenty of food for breakfast which is served near the pool and astonishing view over the mountains, valleys , forest and even the sea!!!!!! Highly recommend this place..... ”

“The rooms are basic, clean, and functional. The air conditioner was barely able to cool the room enough for daytime sleeping probably due to poor seals around the window and door.The shower was cold water only and was missing a shower head so water just poured out of an open pipe....functionally okay. The bathroom was stocked with paper and a couple kinds of soaps. The towels and bedding were of decent quality and clean. The shared refrigerator was very full so space was limiting and the ice……

“The property was beautiful. We were not prepared for how difficult it was to get to the property. I think the listing should explain it is a very difficult car ride it is. That made our travel and events much more limited. We also had a significant issue with the water supply, we had a whole day (the one day we all took a day of rest at the house) without water supply and it took all day to get it serviced. If one is looking for a staycation, it worked well but if you want to enjoy all that the……
