The only reason to stay in this resort is the zip line and the drone shooting service. The staff can speak very good English and very friendly. Other facilities a bit old. Everything need to pay, parking need to pay, sauna and swimming pool access also need to pay and beach facilities also need to pay. The detergent for washing machine also not included, either need to bring yourself or buy from vending machine. The hotel lobby has a very heavy sea smell, which only available in the lobby area.

The property was nice overall. The biggest problem was there wasn’t many dinning options, especially during the weekdays. Also, The restrictions on outdoor activities was stupid. We tried to snorkel in the roped off swimming area with just a mask and snorkled, water 5’ deep or less and we were yelled at and stopped because we had to wear life jackets. Then we went on a paid snorkel excursion with wetsuits and we had to wear life jackets. We couldn’t go down the slide with our young kids. It was things Like these that made it a pain to use the facilities.

The resort really made this trip for us and the town was at times unwelcoming for non-Okinawa/ Japanese people (possibly because of the language barrier). There was a serious lack of transport outside of the resort. We couldnt rent a car and the bus transportation is confusing and unreliable but this is NOT the resorts fault, this is a lack of local resources.

Overall it's a pretty hotel by the beach. The only disappointing part is that you have to pay extra to use anything and the food is not great at all. We ate the breakfast but went to other restaurants for other meals. Would recommend but keep in mind that the price to stay does increase if you want to use amenities. Also everything is closed very early (I.e access to beach and outdoor pool ends at 5:30pm), indoor pool closes at 8pm so there is nothing to do past 8pm which was pretty long and boring as there are 2 ping pong and 1 pool table that is constantly busy. Very clean and friendly staff though and the beach was well maintained.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff in the "Senses" restaurant were amazing. Our son has severe food allergies and they worked with the chefs to ensure that he had a safe meal to eat each day. They took amazing care of him. Fantastic service from them all. The food was very nice too. Our room was comfortable, and we loved having the balcony with the gorgeous ocean view. The Hotel has an indoor pool and Japanese baths as well as an outdoor pool and various watersports, which was great. We went snorkeling to the Blue Cave, which was fantastic and all of the staff on the beach taking the water sports were fantastic. Was extremely disappointed that as a guest at the Hotel, we had to pay to do non-motorized sports, such as Kayaking, to sit on a lounge on the beach and to use the pools. Surely this should be part of your room cost like other Hotels and Resorts. Mini Golf was offered but the course was very overgrown and not well looked after, we didn't even bother having a game. We loved Okinawa and our stay at The Sheraton was great. I just believe that paying guests should be provided with some complimentary activities and that the grounds need to be maintained to a higher standard.

We had an amazing stay here! The rooms were very clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. They had both Japanese and more western breakfast options, with an omurice station, fresh croissants made every half hour or so, curry, fish, fresh fruit just to name a few options. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly, making our stay extra special. As for the private beach, you can pay about 4400 for use of the indoor/outdoor pool, kayaking, paddle boats, a beach chair (coats less for children). This is a one time charge for use throughout your stay. You can still access the beach without this pass- you just will not be entitled to a beach chair. Both pools were quite nice. They also have an onsen that is quite nice after a long day! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

Beach and Pool were the best!
Sheraton has so much to offer families for a great stay— beach, pools, water activities, saltwater open aquarium, games, children’s play room, evening light show, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and pool access! We recommend this hotel only for that! Furniture and appliances in room could be updated and cleaned better since we found a lot of dust under the TV. Breakfast was mediocre and nothing was amazing about it. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to family and friends who are looking to spend time at a hotel with lots of activities to do.

The hotel presentation is very upgraded, and the rooms. Nice and cleaned. We stayed for 4 days. I don’t write bad reviews and I haven’t gone on Yelp or even Google. I’ve stayed in Sheraton’s before. But for the price that I paid I would have expected exceptional conditions or all-inclusive! -The pool is nice, but needs to be upgraded. The paint is peeling and you can see the paint patches. All of us had blue spots on our feet from the first day we stayed. -Maybe it’s a COVID thing, but this is a 4 Star hotel. While the rules says time and dates subject to change without notice. The pool and beach was closed everyday at 05:30pm. When it was cleary posted on website 6pm. Yet in the 4 days no one took the time to update its website. Really? It’s summer and the sun and heat is clearly sticking out at this time. Wish I would have known beforehand. -My other complaint would be the room. We had a toddler and still give them some milk, but were was the microwave? How do I re-heat if any, some of the food we had left over? -The room was too noisy, the AC. The air flowed in the room, sounded like we were in a tunnel with the wind blowing by. It wasn’t till the 3rd night that the light in the hallway really lit up our room. Yes, since the door has a gap all the light was coming in. We wanted a nice dark room so I decided to put a towel down to block the light. And guess what? That also stopped the howling noice. Wow… -Pay extra for indoor pool? Wow…

High hopes but not worth it
At check in we were told that the only option for us to use parasol and beach chairs was to buy a $35 (each) resort pass, and that either both of us had to have it or neither of us could. We weren't interested in the other activities the resort pass included, but agreed to get it anyway, only to find out two days into our stay that they had an alternative 'pay per use' option. What's worse, as of now, this 'optional extra' isn't included in the Hotels.com small print page. The hotel is fine and the food is good (if pricey). We also found the following: 1. Each time we ate at the grill, at least one item we ordered was no longer available, but we weren't informed this until after ordering it and the server coming back to tell us 5 or so minutes later 2. The spa wouldn't honour the discount voucher we found in our room if both I and my wife wanted a massage. Even though only one of us was expecting the discount, they tried to tell us that to use it, only one of us could have a massage (I appreciate language barrier issues, we asked and rephrased 3 or 4 times and got the same response) 3. After waiting a few minutes at the counter, we were shown to seats in what was clearly an area for families with younger children, and we clearly didn't have any. The main restaurant area was not busy, as they reseated is immediately when I asked. Only after all this did we complain to the duty manager, and the resort pass was refunded, but overall a disappointing experience.

A fabulous on-the-beach hotel we visited for 2020 New Years day. The hotel had many fantastic shows and we really enjoyed everything, including the friendly boating trip and gorgeous breakfast. Many thanks to Ms. Masako Bargamotov, Director of Rooms, who was even helpful in arranging events outside of our stay at the Sheraton. I would say this particular Sheraton is one of the best Sheratons because of the “Omotenashi spirits” rooted in the Japanese mindset of hospitality centering around care rather than expectation. I highly recommend it!!

The fish pond in the lobby was really unique! There are many different types of exotic fish, my kid never got tired of seeing and feeding the fish everyday during our 5 day stay. The lobby kids playground is also convenient, spacious and fun. You can also draw on the wall (Wall of Expression) and make arts, so i feel this hotel is perfect for my 2.5 year old. It is also quite conveniently located with a big convenient store just 5 min walk away and plenty restaurant options 15 minutes walk away. Will stay there again!

Big name, disappointing experience
Located right beside the beach with nice sea view from the room balcony (which available everywhere in Okinawa). However, there’s not much you can do in the winter. Many many other hotel in Okinawa offer much better value for the money. With much more amenities facilities too. And the parking is quite far away from the hotel.

My family were happy there! We celebrated the 10 th wedding anniversary here! The staffs were so nice to us! There were bed guard and we can slept safely! But I was quite disappointed about my booked anniversary dinner in sense! There was no special Menu and idea here! Just a normal dinner!

出發前,只付了約$700一晚的價錢,住到無敵海景的shereton,覺得好抵。 可是,從check in 開始,就知道原因。除了房間,什麼也是額外收費。包括停車場、游泳池、大浴場、沙灘椅。 如果你不介意另外付費,酒店是有好多設施的,包括對著海的教堂、香蕉船、水上單車、波波池等。 如果要在酒店吃早餐,最好check in 時便決定加錢。因為之後再決定,價錢是比較貴。

We had a very good stay with the hotel, great facilities and well maintained!! The price of the lunch buffet was reasonable.
