“First of all, I will have to say this hotel has very minor stinkbug problem just like all the Japanese old style wood structure hotels have. In the winter those bugs will find a way to invade wood houses, but don't worry, they won't bite, and the staffs try to clean them at their best. Beside that, all the other service is top grade compare to the price, people are friendly and try to provide best they have, nice onsen, comfortable and clean rooms, I think I will consider to stay there again.”

"The hotel is exactly what I imagined a perfect stay would be like in Japan. It has EVERYTHING I expected. The traditional style, the view, the food, the vibe.. The staff are very welcoming and responsive and helpful. I bought the half board. The breakfast and dinner are wonderful. The location is also great, very close to the sites and nice cafes and restaurants. Strongly recommended! Would definitely stay longer for a week next time in Nikko. "
