Great stay overall.Good communication provided for check in instructions and after-hours management. My room was very clean and provided everything I needed for my short stay. The owners had kindly left a light on in my room and turned the heat pump on for my late arrival which was greatly appreciated. Also received a free upgrade! I will defiantly stay here again if I'm visiting the area.

The room was clean, but it had a strong, unusual fragrance, similar to an Asian incense or aromatic scent not pleasant for everybody.
The room and its amenities felt outdated, and the soundproofing was poor. Noise from people walking and talking in the hallway disturbed my sleep. The air conditioner was also very noisy when switching on and off, and the refrigerator motor repeatedly made a loud noise throughout the night. Overall, it was difficult to get a peaceful night’s sleep.

I like it comfortable feel like home,clean room,great shower and bathroom,comfortable bed,what I didn't like was no free wifi which is weird every stay in New Zealand and other countries I have been to is always free wifi information available at the reception but was not mentioned.The other thing is a motel ?which is should be a cooking facility but it a no cooking facility which is weird,again I stay in motels around the country which they have cooking facility.Overall our stay was a bit disappointed.
