“We had a fabulous stay at Sentrim Mara. Some of the other reviews did concern me before booking but I found this place to be good value for money. Also, the lodge was so spacious! The staff are wonderful, Geoffrey was friendly and attentive at the restaurant, chef Nicholas was helpful with my lactose intolerance and there were many other wonderful staff too. For my birthday the staff bought me a cake while doing native Maasai singing and dancing, it was a very memorable experience. Thank you……

“This place is awesome! The tented structure was awesome and the bathrooms attached to each structure were modern and clean. After just a few short hours of being there, the Maasai guards knew who we were and where our tent was. “酒店位置很好，在马拉河边，但并不是每个房间都能看见马拉河。硬件条件差一些，由于是帐篷的原因，卫生条件也不是很好，昆虫和帐篷上的霉点很多，家庭房（3张床）很拥挤。晚上昆虫和河马叫声此起彼伏，对睡眠环境要求较高请慎选。服务人员有些较为热情，有些较为冷淡，服务水平不一。早中晚均为自助餐，品种较少，住3晚后对餐食已经感到厌烦了。”

“Absolutely loved our time at Basecamp. The location is perfect, at the edge of the Masai Mara, we heard the lions at night, while sleeping. The staff all of them, were so friendly and helpful from the front staff to the night guards. Camp on a river, so you see the animals come for water, open view to see them roaming across the river! “This hotel is a very old.I can understand it had its history since 1965. I respect the history but It is obvious that they had never renovate or make improvement to their rooms!
