"The room was dirty cat food under where the TV was cat toys under sofa film around the hot tub and saw bugs. The young man at the desk was very polite and helpful. The woman owner was very rude and was very ignorant in her word choices basically racially profiled my girlfriend that was with me. Will never go here ever again."

"This place is not as advertised! The rooms are alright, cheaply redone but alright. The breakfast is non existent. All there was is cereal and sad looking bagels. The pool is cracking and is unsafe to walk on. The washing machine and dryer was broken, had to go to a laundry mat nearby. And late at night there was a party in the parking lot with loud music"

"My friends and I booked this house for a girls trip over a long weekend in Mid-May. Overall, we had a great time at this relaxing home and loved the views of the lake, especially the gorgeous sunsets.As others have commented, there are a few considerations for prospective guests and suggestions for the owner/property manager.Considerations:- We unknowingly booked our trip during a gnat/midge swarming period. The bugs didn't bite, but there were millions of them everywhere and it was difficult to enjoy the deck during the day. - The main upstairs bedroom is open to the rest of the house, which was fine for our trip but might not be great if you're expecting privacy or are a light sleeper.Suggestions for the owner/property manager- The hot tub needs maintenance. We were only able to use it one night out of three because it was either not heating or got overheated. One night the temperature got up to 110 degrees, which is extremely dangerous.- The kitchen needs to be restocked with a complete sets of glasses, dishware, and silverware. There were only 2 real glasses and 3 forks, and the kitchen needed a few more essentials. - The dining table is cool, but all the chairs have loose bolts and everything needs to be tightened. - The house needs general maintenance and sprucing up. We would give this house a 7/10. It's a great location and the views are extraordinary, but some general TLC and stocking the kitchen for cooking would make it a stellar experience."

"My Wife and I Loved the House / Cabin, it was in a wooded lot plenty of privacy and the decor little touches around the house and backyard were amazing. Dave has put a lot of time and love into the house and yards. We will be renting from him again. THANK YOU Dave we had an amazing stay. I have been coming to NY Lake Ontario for 21 years in a row, to fish the spring bite. I wish I had found this place way before this year. The house / Cabin is first class you cannot go wrong renting it."
