「Thanks to the receptionist Samuel for his excellent service and recommendations for local dining restaurants. All the staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful with personal warmth. The hotel itself is at great location, clean room, and free minibar provided. We had a wonderful experience staying in Marthof Hotel and will definitely stay here again next time when we come back. 」

「It is a bit far from the Basel train station but the tram number 8 can take you nearby, hotel host upgraded my room to a bigger size on top floor, while you cannot imagine it is a big hotel from outside, good bathroom with enough hot and water pressure, easy to reach most of the Basel old town attractions」

「Ein tolles Hotel in Gehdistanz zu allen Möglichkeiten, mit moderner Einrichtung. Die Baselcard ist super und die Bags um sich im Rhein treiben zu lassen sind genial. Zuerst waren wir etwas erstaunt über den Preis des Frühstücks, doch es war sehr reichhaltig und ausserordentlich vielseitig. Es hat sich gelohnt. Werden es wieder besuchen. 」

「This property was wonderful. The code system is really easy and the room was wonderful. The shower was spacious, our room had wall to wall windows which was gorgeous. The hotel DOES have laundry machines that you can use, even though I couldn’t find that on the listing, which was crucial for us. It’s so close to the daily farmers market, where we picked up breakfast every morning, and the Marktplatz tram stops, so it’s incredibly convenient for getting around. I would absolutely stay here again...
