Malmaison Birmingham
Hotels.com offered an upgrade to a suite which I accepted and was confirmed in writing. Upon check-in was told that Hotels.com frequently do this even if the property is fully booked. Very disappointing. Room was ok. Quiet. Awful smell emanating from the toilet though.

Great property with everything you need provided. Owner lives a few doors down so is on hand if you need anything. Our 5 day stay for a wedding was pleasant and we had no worries.Would highly recommend

Aparthotel Adagio Birmingham City Centre
The room had everything I needed. Large comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities, and a very useful kitchen area. It was secure and spacious, with good lighting and temperature control. Its close proximity to the coach station suited my needs, and I had a comfortable two night stay.
