"This was a wonderful stay at Vito's apartment. The check-in process was smooth with Vito there to guide us through the property, and they were kind enough to leave us some Italian biscuits as a gift! "This apartment is about as centrally located as possible in Baunei. (Pronounced Bau - Nay: Your'e welcome!) It is only a 2 minute walk to the central square. Both bedrooms had AC which was a lifesaver during the July 2023 heatwave. It is otherwise very well shaded on a narrow street so most of the year is probably not necessary. My only minor comment would be that although it is really near the sea - about 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk - the description of a few steps is a bit optimistic! "Santa Maria Navarese is very pleasant little town to relax, no resort with huge hotels, huge noisy beach, loud music and that is exactly what we were looking for. The apartment is sunny, located in a quiet part of village. The nearest grocery, pizzeria, bakery is not more than 100 m away, the nearest beach about 400 m. The Italian speaking owner is caring, the kitchen excellently equipped, everything very clean, comfortable. No garden. Parking in the yard."

"The pool and view from the property are exactly as the photos, out of this world, we had a great time staying here. We also loved the location, a nice quiet area, but a short drive (5 mins) to fantastic beaches, and you can also walk (20mins) to a fab restaurent near the beach which is a real bonus. A great location for exporing beaches, but also the mountains nearby. The property itself is spacious and has everything you need. No AC - so fans are needed, but we managed okay."

"This was a very nice property located on the waterfront. Exceptional value. Off-season so very little open in the area. I may have been the only guest in the hotel that night. This would be a great location in summer for regional water activities. The Festival of Sant' Antonio happened to be starting the same day I was there. The burning of the tree was right next to the hotel The town's people were friendly and shared wine and pastries"
