"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cavour Guest House. The room was spacious, with adequate cooking facilities. The bathroom is squeaky clean and has nice shampoo! The young owner, Matteo, is friendly and helpful, even drove us to the Hanbury Botanical Gardens. We wouldn't not hesitate to return."

"Arrived at 3pm. Was a problem on arrival with the person that was meant to check us in not being available. After a wait of around 15 mins a lady from an adjoining office organised two key cards and took us up to the room. On opening the door the room smelt very strongly of stale cigarette smoke. (We had requested a non-smoking room). We were then taken to another room which did not smell. The lady opened the valve on the radiator and turned on the heat pump. The location of this property is amazing! Its literally a block from the beach, on a walking only street that has a LOT of great restaurants, cafes and shopping right there. We loved the convenience! "We loved the location and the quiet. We were three so the suite style set up gave us much needed room-with a wonderfully spacious bathroom! The only thing we missed was no restaurant for early coffee or breakfast/just a coffee machine in the lobby.They did not have updated coffee machines in the room which made it feel a bit/ little outdated with old coffee pots being provided.
