Great Birthday Getaway!
We came and stayed a few nights for my wife's birthday and had a great stay. There was delicious homemade bread waiting for us along with some other great goodies. The location is amazing with a short trail to the state park, perfect woods-walk location. Communication was amazing. Thanks for the great stay!

I spent 1 night here & it was an amazing relaxing night. I got lost trying to find the entrance because I arrived when it was dark and the hosts answered the phone immediately & directed me to it. It's very quiet , spacious , entertaining & very clean . I would most definitely rent it again!

Awesome woodsy retreat
We loved the trails from the backyard and truly enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. We really appreciated all the snacks and especially the fresh bread and wine! Thank you so much!

Lovely!
We had a great stay in this light and very open-feeling basement apartment. It felt very private; although we could occasionally hear muffled sounds from our hosts upstairs, we never saw them. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and the amenities were stellar: continental breakfast, coffee/tea bar, trail snacks, cookies, fresh bread, and extensive toiletries available in the bathroom. With the weather so mild, we were able to enjoy the outdoor patio/dining area, outdoor tub, and hot tub. Our 5 year old was able to make the trek to the rocky beach down the well maintained trail. All in all a lovely place to stay.

Lovely stay
Wonderful spot, great attention to detail, everything was more/better than expected! Super clean, great decor, comfy beds, top quality bedding and such a cozy spot to retreat. We had a lovely, relaxing time and would love to stay again.

Another great stay at The Woodsy Retreat!
This is our second stay here and it was another great stay and time! Does not matter what the weather is or time of year…..this place makes you feel comfortable and cozy. We will be back…hopefully soon!

A Great Get-Away
My wife and I were very impressed by the amount of care that went into making sure that guests felt welcomed by the host. There was a fully stocked coffee bar, some delicious treats for breakfast, and even some neat things in the fridge - none of which I was expecting, but all of which were appreciated. My wife mentioned multiple times how impressed she was by everything. In terms of the actual physical interior: everything was clean, easy to use or figure out, and comfortable. We would certainly recommend anyone visit - it was definitely a woodsy retreat!

New Year Retreat
I cannot say enough about how incredible our stay was. From the moment we drove up, walked down the charming path and saw it open to the forest, to every special touch outside and inside of this beautiful place, we loved it! We walked through the woods down to the beach, hot tubbed under the stars at night overlooked the forest, swung on the porch swing in the morning drinking our coffee and spent hours catching up inside. As many others have said, all of the special touches make this space such a gem. Walking in to a sweet welcome board, snacks and wine with chilled glasses, the morning breakfast, outdoor shower and claw foot tub….I truly can’t wait to rerun in the summer months. Truly one of the best places I have stayed. Thank you

Amazing Touches
Wonderful cottage like atmosphere! Beautiful inside and out. The sweet touches are everywhere! The snacks, continental breakfast, tea and coffee bar are so unexpected you feel spoiled! Beds are comfortable, robes and slippers are provided and you can’t get enough of the outdoor living space! Thank you Danica! We will be back.
