We offer you high quality private accommodation in our authentic Dalmatian stone house with the NEW HEATED POOL and JACCUZI at the front of the house. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful front terrace with a large wooden table where you can have lunch or dinner. The peaceful and breathtaking surroundings will leave you speechless. And one of the best things - you have a garden just for yourself. You can pick fresh fruit and vegetables there!

If you are a swimmer, the ADRIATIC SEA with beautiful beaches is only 10 km away from you, and the Cetina River with its spectacular canyon is very close - 8 km. Only 10 km away from you is the city of Omis, a very small but beautiful city on the Adriatic coast. Omis is also an ideal place to spend an active vacation or simply to plan a weekend of relaxation. Regardless of your sporting preferences (be it diving, windsurfing, rafting or kayaking on calm water or rapids, hiking, climbing, hang gliding or paragliding, cycling or boating), this former home of pirates offers all of this on a background of natural beauty. And yes, 3 years ago Omis got a zipline, one of the largest in this part of Europe. For true nature lovers and those who prefer to relax in some kind of isolation, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, our oasis of calm with a touch of the mainland is the right choice.

Beautiful quiet scenic surroundings

It was a beautiful location, up in the mountains, quiet and stunning outside area and pool. Inside was very clean and Mama next door was always on hand. We (4 adults) loved it, but space indoors was limited if you have children or like a large room. And the drive up to the villa from Omiš needs confident drivers!

Amazing villa

Great villa which was lovely and clean upon arrival. The pool is also great. If you do stay here you will need a rental car as you are up in the mountains and the road to get to the villa is steep and narrow so takes getting used to. You would need to be a confident driver. There is also a small alley you have to drive through to get to the villa which we just about got our rental car through (Jeep Compass) - any bigger and you won’t get it through so don’t get a big SUV rental. Friendly neighbours and the host checked up to make sure we were OK. Washing facilities and 2 bathrooms. The sofa becomes a sofa bed which is a big double so 2 people can sleep on it. Very nice and peaceful and great view of the mountains. A short drive (literally 10 mins) from rafting, zip lining and then the town of Omiš which has a lovely stoney beach and town which great restaurants. Would absolutely stay again thank you!

Wunderschönes Haus und tolle Gastgeber

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen! Selbst unsere späte Ankunft war kein Problem, wir wurden sehr herzlich willkommen und alles gezeigt, und ein Grundstock fürs erste Frühstück wurde uns sogar auch überlassen. Die Mutter wohnt direkt gegenüber, hat sich liebevoll um die Pflanzen gekümmert und uns mit Badehandtüchern, Sonnenschirm und frischen Weintrauben versorgt. Wirklich sehr herzliche! Auch das Haus an sich war sehr schön, die Räume hatten eine vernünftige Größe, und die Badezimmer waren geräumig und sauber! Die Anfahrt ist über die kurvigen kleinen Straßen sehr idyllisch aber auch ein bisschen aufregend (vor allem im Dunkeln). Die Messer hätten zwar etwas schärfer sein können, aber ansonsten ist die Küche ganz vernünftig ausgestattet. Das einzige Manko war, dass das WLAN leider nicht ging und der Empfang am Haus leider sehr schlecht ist (am Wohnzimmerfenster und oben auf dem Balkon, sowie am Pool ok). Das hat die Recherche nach Ausflugszielen etc. Etwas komplizierter gestaltet. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub, und auch zum Abschied sind beide nochmal vorbeigekommen um uns zu verabschieden. Vielen Dank nochmal!

Hilly Retreat

Place was immaculately clean, well equipped with toilet roll and basic kitchen supplies. Hosts relatives live near the house so when it rained they removed the wet doormat and looked after the place. Beautiful location, roads took a bit of getting used to. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you 😊

Very authentic and lovely outdoor

We are really glad to have stayed at Duje’s house in the hills. Very informative about Omiš, which is a lovely beach town with loads of good restaurants. Duje’s mother came twice with fresh vegetables and the neighbours in the little village are all very kind. However, none of them speak English. The house in it self is okay: you can cook and eat in throughout the stay, but is lacking some good knives, bowls and other utilities. We can definately recommend this house, if you’d like peace and quiet mixed with a lovely pool and the well-kept outdoor sorroundings. Thank you

Einzigartige Lage

Wir hatten einen einzigartigen Aufenthalt im kleinen Bergdorf und wurden von den Nachbarn mit selbst angebauten Produkten versorgt (Tomaten, Bohnen, Zucchini, Gurken etc.). Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter bzw. seiner Nichte war jederzeit in Englisch möglich und wir erhielten einige Empfehlungen. Es gibt ein Restaurant im Ort. Das nächste Städtchen (Omis) ist ca. 20 Minuten Autofahrt entfernt und sehr ansprechend. Wir werden diesen Urlaub sicher immer in positiver Erinnerung behalten.

Heerlijke, rustige accommodatie

Het huis heeft alle faciliteiten, met daarnaast een prachtig terras en geweldig zwembad. Wij verbleven met 4 volwassenen en 2 kleine kinderen en hebben genoten van de gastvrijheid van de eigenaar en zijn familie (van wie we o.a. verse vijgen en tomaten uit eigen tuin kregen). Het huis staat in een klein dorp. Je moet er dus rekening mee houden dat je een eindje moet rijden voor boodschappen en activiteiten (20 min). Wij vonden dat geen probleem, want we kwamen voor de rust en de ruimte.

What a villa....

What a fabulous Villa.. The location is extremely peaceful in amazing settings. (The views and the villa are not done justice from the photo’s) The location of the pool is absolutely perfect as a sun trap, and provides you with access to the sun from Sunrise to sunset. Duje and his Niece were superb hosts, with Sanja providing many excellent recommendations for both restaurants and day trips/ Beaches, and bookings for boat trips. Duje’s mother who also lives close to the villa kept us well stocked with figs, tomatoes, cucumbers and home made fresh pasta sauces. (What an amazing lady) We have stayed in many villa’s, and this was by far where we have felt the saftest. There is an excellent restaurant just 10/15 minute walk from the villa, but beyond that you would either need car or Taxi’s to the nearest Town (Omis), which is exactly 10km. Thank you so much Duje and family!

Natural Croatia

This place is a must if you want piece and quiet in the Croatian countryside. The neighbourhood is very friendly and welcoming and access to beach, shops and activities only a 15 minute drive away! Duje (the host) and his family are very accommodating and brought lovely fruit and vegetables from their farm and also organised activities for us. Thank you Sanja! We had a fabulous time. Great property, beautiful location, amazing hosts!

We booked this property without reading any reviews so we were a little bit nervous but we had no need to worry. The property is 1 hour drive from Split airport and 20 minutes from the main town of Omis. It’s in a quaint village in the middle of the mountains - so peaceful and beautiful. Sitting around the pool and star gazing at night was delightful. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Omis has everything you could possibly want - adrenaline activities (we recommend zip line and white water rafting!), private or group boat trips to the islands or up the Cetina river, kayaking, walks/hikes, quaint old town streets, fortresses, historical architecture, good restaurants, beaches and beautiful scenery. It really is stunning. We did a day trip to Split old town (1 hour away) and Krka national park (1.5 hours away). Both were worth visiting. Krka gets busy in peak season but we arrived just before 4pm when the price is cheaper and fewer people. We also visited lots of quiet and beautiful coves about 30 minutes away - just stop where you can and find a way down! But the best bit of our holiday was the host - Duje and his family. Duje, his wife Ana, his neice Sanja, and mum Mila were all there to greet us when we arrived. Sanja speaks excellent English and was our main communicator. They had laid out a tradition Croatian lunch of meats, cheese and olives for us and best of all offered to cook a tradition peka for us one evening. It was amazing food and wine and so lovely getting to know them all. Sanja’s cousin Dea also came along. Mila lives next door and was always available to take us into the garden to pick vegetables, or we could do so ourselves. We had so much food to cook! She is the most generous and lovely neighbour you could want and always on hand to help if you want it. We shared a couple of lovely evenings having a drink with her (with the help of google translate!) She also respected our privacy if we wanted that. Sanja was always available when we texted or called her if we had any questions. She booked activities for us and gave lots of recommendations. It is clear that the family really care about their guests and making sure they have a fabulous time, which we did. We would not hesitate to go back or recommend this place. A gem of a find. Thank you so much Duje and family!
