"Overall the home was very nice and cozy. Only issues were minor, some silverware had to be rewashed, personal communication was non-existant leaving it unclear how to ask questions for like finding extra blankets...which we never found. That said, we loved the place overall and would recommend to friends and family."

"The property is beautiful - the cottage is modern with a beautiful aesthetic. Appliances are all top grade. Beds super comfortable. Fabulous view of the lake from inside and out on a wonderful deck. "The paddle boards and canoes on the lake made the trip really fun for teenagers. Right on a nice lake so it’s shallow enough to explore and also swim out deeper and much warmer than Lake Michigan which is close enough to drive back and forth from easily."

"What a perfect family vacation! The property is perfect with fun options for the kids on the water. My two boys loved the SUPs and kids kayaks and were anxious to use them throughout our stay. The location is quiet and far from noisy touristy spots. We were pleasantly surprised! The cottage was only a few feet from the water which was perfect! We will be back!"

"Excellent location tucked away in the woods between Crystal Lake and Lake Michigan. It is on the CSA grounds with several other similar lake vacation houses, but the woods are dense enough for a sense of privacy. The house is pretty rustic and dim, so expect that. Also kinda felt like there was sand everywhere, but I suppose that's on par for the area (and we might've contributed to it during our stay). Nice updated kitchen though. We had lots of fun in Frankfort!"

"We absolutely loved this property. If you desire a relaxing, isolated, and peaceful get away this is the place. Manistee is 15 to 20 minute drive, so make sure you take what you need. We witnessed the most amazing sunsets. We will definitely return."
