The Bad, deck and stairs are a little rotten and spongy the TVs also had 4-5 remotes and were difficult to navigate and make work.The good, plenty of room and the location and view can't be beat

Pass Time Orange beach.

Good Location but house has been neglected. This home is misrepresented in the photos online. It needs a lot of work. We arrived to trash overflowing in the parking area. A keycode that was not working. A bathtub running constantly. Large benches that had been dragged over holes in the deck and blocking one staircase. Then we killed the large roaches every night in the kitchen. On top of that the beds are hard as a rock. We left disappointed in the accommodations and tired.

Not as advertised

Checkin was difficult. Codes were different for each door. The neighbor thought we were locked out, which she said happens a lot. did think the location was ok. Not beach front as advertised. The walk to the beach was fine for us, all adults, but if one had kids it would be difficult. Also, the upstairs is completely separate from the downstairs and should be advertised. This place was too expensive too. Not enough shower amenities, I have not stayed in a place that did not have soap and shampoo and conditioner when this price, no lighter for the grill (thankfully the neighbor was nice and checked on us), no coffee filter...just little touches would go a long way in a home at this price.

Good stay to bring our pup.

The description of beach front was a little misleading so be sure to check out pictures and the map. The actual beach was nearby but if you are bringing kids and all their things walking it is pretty exhausting bc it’s sand the whole way. Our second day there we ended up driving to a public beach so we did t have to take the walk again. This was a nice stay for what we needed since we were bringing our golden retriever with us. Hard to find nice places to stay that allows dogs so this was a big plus for us. There were several dead roaches when we arrived. I was initially a little concerned about this but it seems like maybe they had just spayed . It did seem like we were the first guest to stay there in a while and we didn’t see anymore during our stay.

Do not waste your MONEY

I love the fact that I was able to go on vacation with my sweet father and my better half, however, I wish it was such less of a hassle. There were so many safety issues, including holes up on top of the deck that a person can go through, also exposed frayed wire on the water heater that causes one of the showers not to heat. Not to mention that said shower is so backed up from the drain that we couldn’t use it at all. This house is separated into two different sections and it doesn’t show you that in the pictures. The basement section is absolutely disgusting, moldy, air-conditioning leaking and just all around creepy. It does not have a private beach and it does not have beach access that is in close walking distance. They make it look like that, but when you get there, you realize that you have been completely misled. Not to mention, the humongous cockroaches that were in the house. We literally lied awake one night, listening to one wrestle in a bag underneath our bed. I would never stay here again and I’m not posting this review to be ugly to anyone. I simply want future travelers to have what they want and what they need and not being a position that I was in. I would have honestly booked a condo in one of the big high-rise towers if I knew all of what I know now about this place. Also, the panoramic views are fogged up by the old outdated windows that you cannot see out of. All of the pictures of this place are completely misleading. I am just so glad to have spent time with my father and my better half. That is what made this stay awesome. Not the house at all unfortunately.

Overall good experience

Our family of six adults came to spend a couple of days at the beach and overall we enjoyed our stay. Here are the positives we experienced: THE VIEW: the view is incredible. The way the house is situated, the view of the ocean is beautiful. The deck faces the ocean, and provides a relaxing spot to drink coffee in the morning. THE KITCHEN: We cook a lot and found the kitchen to be fairly stocked with basic amenities for cookware essentials. It was also nice to have the starter pack of dish detergent, laundry soap and a sponge. THE ICE MACHINE: There is a separate ice machine that was fabulous. It kept up with our demand for coolers as well as ice for meal time. THE SPACE: The house was spacious and allowed our family to stay comfortably. Also, the house being pet friendly was a huge bonus. Now for the negatives: PRIVATE "BEACH": It is advertised as "private beach". However, the only beach we saw that was "private" was across the driveway next to a parking lot by a restaurant. And it wasn't beach, but a bunch of sand.with scraggly weeds in it. The description does say that there isn't direct beach access ,but it was not clear that in order to go to the beach and be close to the ocean, we would have to drive either 1/2 mile one way to the state park or a couple of miles at the other public beach access. It would have been nice to have a more clear direction there. We walked from the house to one of the beach access points and it took about 10-12 one way, and that was without carrying any type of chair or beach equipment. The advertisement was misleading. OVERALL LAYOUT DESCRIPTION: The house is 2 story with outside access only. There is a description online with a 360 tour of the top floor with pictures of the additional downstairs, but it was not made clear that there was no internal access. That was inconvenient during the rain. NEED FOR REPAIR: The deck, although a great spot to watch the oceanview, was showing signs of age with several weak spots in the stairs themselves. Additionally, there was a spot on the deck that actually had a rotted hole in the corner, and someone had pulled the deck furniture over it to keep someone from falling in. TV SERVICE/WIFI: Although we did not come to the beach to watch TV, we wanted to be aware of the weather. Althought there were TVs in each room, It was difficult to get the TVs to stay connected to the wifi, and then we weren't sure, if the TVs operated on only wifi or satellite (there were remotes and boxes, but they weren't connected, and there was little instruction). Wifi seemed to be at a good speed, so we didn't have issues with our phone connections. We as a family overall enjoyed the view and the space. The descriptions were misleading and thus inconvenient.
