"We really appreciated the hard work and friendly faces who cooked and served breakfast for us every morning!!! The selection was excellent and the quality was wonderful! If we ever find ourselves in Korcula again we would not hesitate to stay here. We loved our room and really appreciated the breakfast. "My family and I just spent 3 weeks at Villa Agnes, and we could have stayed all Summer. As we were leaving my youngest son just sighed and said "I wish we didn't have to leave".The photos are all accurate, but I would say it's more beautiful in person. The house itself is incredibly charming. It is well appointed, with everything we needed. The kitchen is small, but one of the better equipped kitchens we've had in a short term rental. We had no issues cooking there.We're traveling all Summer, and Orebic was such a welcome oasis from some of the extremely crowded cities we've been in. It was big enough to have everything we needed, but small enough to retain its charm and avoid the crush of crowds. We could walk to the small grocery in town, and the bakery is literally right around the corner. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and a great little ice cream shop around the corner. It was easy to grab a ferry over to Korcula, or get an island hopping pass to check out some of the smaller islands.We did have a car, and drove just a tiny bit farther to go to the bigger grocery store once a week (although it's technically also walking distance).There's fantastic local wines and wineries, and they had live music and wine tastings just around the corner from us on Wednesday evenings. The ocean was so beautiful, and you could swim anywhere. The pool was nice for the kids to hop in first thing in the morning, or in the evening while we were fixing dinner. "
