"This is a cute little apartment just north of Orient Bay beach. Definitely rent a car for your time on the island! The half mile walk to the beach town is all on sand, but is an approachable walk. Otherwise the drive is about 10 minutes to the same location. We enjoyed the patio and the air conditioning worked great. If you plan to do laundry, you'll need to bring your own detergent. There is a Nespresso machine, and we bought a few pods from the grocery store in town. The restaurants in town are amazing. Just remember you are on "island time" and enjoy the slow pace of this island!"

"I do not understand why this is rated a 4.9* hotel, it is good but definitely not luxury or upscale like I would consider with that rating. We were not wowed with this property as we have been with many other properties we have stayed. Location is good but I read that this is the only hotel "on the beach", I did not feel like it was either on the beach nor the only one in Orient Bay. The room was clean and comfortable, the best part of the room was the hurricane shutters that made the room completely dark. Breakfast was good, drinks were okay, the bartender was not the most friendly but whatever. If we return to St. Martin, we will probably try a stay on the Dutch side for a fair comparison."

"What a beautiful view and the room was very nice and clean. Chantal is a lovely person and hostess. She responded very quickly to our communications. The only thing we had not really planned on was the steep climbs from the parking to our room and back up each time. Being in our 70's and 80's made it a challenge, but most would probably welcome the exercise! The resort itself is quiet and the pool is awesome. The nearby restaurants and beaches make for plenty of entertainment."

"The Villa was exactly as described (the views truly can’t be beat) and we loved every minute of our stay. It was a great location for our home base for the trip, with lots of great areas to explore close by. Great amount of space for our group and even better that each room had its own bathroom and walk out deck/seating area. Alex was a great host and helped answer a lot of my questions before we arrived and met us at the Villa for check in to go over everything and set us up for a great stay. Loved St. Martin and hope to go back!"
