Relaxing stay

We did not go to any of the parks, but wanted an affordable relaxing stay with 3 total families with lots of swimming for the kiddos. It was great.

Excellent House - Great Location

We have been to Florida many times but this was our first time to Solara Resort. We were impressed with the resort clubhouse, great amenities on offer free of charge and we liked the security of the resort being gated. Everything is kept clean and staff are friendly. We had a lovely lakeside view. As this is a new development there is evidence of additional building works being ongoing, and although this was visible and audible at times, it certainly did not disrupt our stay. The villa itself was fantastic. We are a large family so the open plan layout, games room and cinema area on landing created lots of hang out zones which the kids loved. The resort is very close to Disney, most days (outside of rush hour) we could drive to the Disney parks in 20 mins or less. If I was being super critical I would say that for such a large property, there wasn’t enough kitchen equipment. There is a serious lack of bakeware and cooking utensils but this didn’t cause us too many issues. If you are a family who likes to dine in, then it might be a problem. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would come back to this resort and would definitely book through this owner again. Everything was handled carefully and patiently and we didn’t experience any issues.
