Vacation stay

The property was clean and pictures were accurate. My only issue was the pool was under maintenence and the children were unable to have access to it. So that was disappointing. I wish i would have known a head of time.

Be aware you'll need toilet paper

I was surprised to find out that only 4 rolls of toilet paper were provided for 6 people on a 7 day stay. When I inquired about it they said the listing made it clear that we would need to provide that. After I read the posting over again I never saw where they made that clear so hopefully this can save someone else from running out of toilet paper late at night. Otherwise the place was great.

Great Amenities and Location

Overall five stars. Hot tub, heated pool, close to Universal and a grocery/liquor store within walking distance. Great value for a 3 bedroom 2 bath. Adam at the pool bar was also sweet and accommodating. My only complaints are 1) they only provide one trash bag; myself and five other people stayed for four nights and it was inconvenient to have to buy a ream of trash bags. 2) the kitchen was under supplied. There were only two oven sheet pans, limited cutting boards, zero Tupperware or plastic bowls of any kind, etc. for how many kitchen cabinets there were, most of them were empty.

Enjoyable Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. We found the condo to be set-up nicely and enjoyed the extra touches that were made to ensure we had a great stay. We didn't notice a ton of noise from the neighbors (just normal foot traffic). The convenience of having the neighboring shopping plaza was appreciated and we would definitely stay here again if it were available!

Cozy Home away from home

We have stayed at the resort before and this time, like the first, did not disappoint. There is plenty room to spread out, a nice walking trail and the kids really enjoyed the pool.

Nice Stay Near Sea World

Our family of four stayed here for a week while visiting the parks. Super close to Sea World, Aquatica, and Discovery Cove. Realistically its at least 20-30 minutes to Disney parks (more depending on traffic), not 10 that’s advertised. We visited a park every day so we were really only there to sleep. It is a gated community, but the gates were always open except for our last two days. It’s a nice area, though, and we didn’t feel unsafe at all. PROS: 1. Close to Sea World parks 2. Chick-fil-A and Publix are super close as well as other restaurants. 3. Unit is roomy and clean. Photos are accurate. Beds were good and the kitchen seems well stocked, though we didn’t cook. 4. We had a headboard (queen bed) break in our first 10 minutes (fell off as soon as we sat on the edge of the bed to unpack, screws were loose). Didn’t affect our stay but the management never responded after we messaged them. CONS: 1. Walls/floors/ceilings are thin. We could hear people in the unit above us all week - their music, walking, doors closing, alarm clocks in the morning... etc. Even with the white noise makers we travel with it was tough to get uninterrupted sleep. 2. The TVs have ALL the channels. Our daughter was flipping through stations looking for the Disney Channel and stumbled upon a very graphic x-rated movie… at 6pm. Just a heads up for the parents! Overall the place was nice. If you want super quiet - it’s probably not for you, but most people would probably enjoy it.

Comfortable and spacious

Overall, we had a great stay at this property. There are a few minor items that we inform the property manager is off. They were very responsive and the property and photos are as pictured. We loved the location! The rugs could use a cleaning, and there are some updates that are needed, but we would stay here again.

Very nice condo. Excellent location.

While traveling in Florida in a few different cities, we stayed at Vista Cay in Orlando for 3 days of our trip. This was the best place we stayed at on our trip. Very close to everything in Orlando, especially the theme parks. The condo was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the condo had just about everything we needed. Loved using the pool and all of the property amenities. I felt that this was a great value and probably one of the better options that you will find, if you are not staying at one of the theme park resorts. We would definitely stay at this location again, and hopefully able to get this exact same unit if available. I had minimal interaction with Cassiola prior to arrival, but they did help me with one small issue, promptly and to my satisfaction. Great stay.

Great for family get together.

This property is as described. It is in a great location, its very clean and has everything you will need for your stay. Restaurants and grocery store are very close. My husband and I had our grown children, one of their spouses and our granddaughter stay with us. It was perfect! Great family time!

Nice Place Overall

The stay and location were nice. The only critics: more bathroom towels and washcloths (we had 4 adults staying 5 nights) so as to prevent the need to just do laundry for washcloths; the dinning room table is lovely but there is so much stuff on it that you can't use it; and the front bedroom could really use a ceiling fan (the 2 people who stayed in the room complained of the heat/lack of air flow). But otherwise, it's a great location and a great value for extended trips. You can easily walk to Publix to get groceries and the area in front is developing more each year we go. I had some trouble getting into the room (email issue, not host); and the host helped me out no issue.

We are converts - absolutely fabulous!

Beautiful property! We have always stayed on property at Universal or Disney, but after staying at Dennis’ beautiful home - I’m never staying anywhere else. It was beautifully decorated, had everything we needed (and more) and was very conveniently located to Universal and restaurants. The beds were extremely comfortable, plenty of sitting area to chill out as a family and watch the Bears game and a nice dining table to eat and play euchre. It was the perfect place to meet up with our 25-year old daughter and her new husband from Chicago and our college student from UW/Seattle while in town for a wedding. My husband was recently transferred to Dallas and this time together in this particular location felt like home!! Can’t rave enough. If you are arriving before check-in to enjoy the pool (we sure did!), you may want to bring towels. It was a bit chilly without them and we were told towels were only available in the unit.

Great condo for a family

This was exactly like the pictures. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfy and it was close to the pool area. I would suggest adding a dresser to the one bedroom with the frosted door as well as new cushions for the outdoor area, but I still give it 5 stars and would definitely go again!

This property was amazing!

Great location, close to Universal parks, Sea World and Disney parks. Love the Vista Cay properties. Was a little confused with the management company not being the same management company as the front desk at the club house. We were unable to hold our bags until check-in time. Also, and this is a VRBO issue... I had reserved another property and they replaced the reservation with this one which was a surprise, because I hadn't seen this listing. But when we arrived, It was a very pleasant surprise. The condo is HUGE. Nicely decorated and offered plenty of dishes and glasses.
