Great place for family connect

Wonderful stay away and in the middle of many attractions (Springs to the west, Cape Canaveral to the east) but down the road from all of the amusement parks. The resort area was secure, clean and very well maintained! The property was large enough for our entire family and cozy enough for family time. The pool was wonderful and we spent most of our time relaxing around it! There were stores and restaurants within a couple of minute drive and once we learned some of the alternate routes to and from Disney / Convention Center... it made it very easy.Highly recommend!

What a great home. Everything was as described in the details. Up to date, spotless and communication with property management was excellent. We have stayed in several homes at Solara and this was by far the very best experience yet!

Good Stay

Overall good home. Lots of space and storage. No baking sheet or pizza trays, some cable boxes were difficult to operate and the media center seemed to be missing a remote. There were plenty of towels for bathrooms, blankets and the pool was nice. Manager was very responsive to any questions that I had.

Will not be back

We have stayed in many VRBO homes without issues. This home was not maintained well (take pictures when you arrive and when you leave). This home is large and in a good location. We booked it because of the amenities and the private pool and jacuzzi but when we arrived both were dirty with lots of debris in them. There was a large panel of screen (to the right side of the screened in porch) that was torn. Also the pool pump was not working properly. I called the emergency phone number on Saturday and Sunday but NEVER received a return phone call. I sent many messages on the VRBO site to Emily & Kevin the property managers. They asked me to send them pictures to the company email, which I did. We also had issues with the bunk room as it looked like feces was smeared on the upper Right hand side of the dunk room wall. Emily SAID it was from a previous guests child who "painted" the wall. The bunk room sheets and comforters were dirty, I washed the sheets first thing on Saturday evening when we checked in but we needed new comforters for the beds. Emily said the cleaning people would deliver the comforters by Monday. They never came, Emily also stated that a pool person would be to the house to check the pool on Sunday or Monday and also fix the screen as debris would continueaccumulate in the pool due to the large rip in the screen. I also requested a new pool skimmer since the one at the house was old and had several holes in it. I have more to add but nomore space. Horrible

Fantastic Stay

My wife and our two small (under 5) children had a fantastic stay at the 9037 Villa. The home was clean and tasteful, the value was excellent, and the amenities of the resort were awesome. We spent tons of time at the playground and small water playground was excellent for small kids who can’t swim yet. The villa pool and hot tub were great, we spent a ton of time there too. Overall we found the villa to be as advertised and it was a great experience. My only feedback is that the kitchen was a little under stocked compared to similar rentals we’ve stayed at in the past. There weren’t any dish towels, measuring cups, and coffee filters in the kitchen, and there was only a single hand towel per bathroom. Adding these things might be good. One other thing that really impressed us was that this was a big rental, especially for the price, we could easily have had another family of our size stay with us and been totally comfortable. The two masters on different levels and the multiple living spaces make this a great option for a two family rental. I also noticed that there’s a new east-west road under construction just north of the resort, once this opens it’ll greatly speed access to the grocery store and restaurants on route 27 making this an even better location. All in all this was absolutely a 5 star stay and I’m hoping to be able to rent it with another family next time we’re able to make it to the Orlando area.

Great Vacation Home!

I like to leave comprehensive reviews so you know what you are getting. I have traveled all over the US, and UK/Europe staying in many VRBO homes. I like to talk about positives, opportunities, uniqueness's, responsiveness of the owners, and if it is a resort what to expect. Overall we loved out stay! The pictures are accurate, it is spacious and well decorated. The beds were comfy, and the loft with projector screen to watch movies was a nice add. When comparing this home to other homes in the Davenport area of same size in the lower price bracket per night it fits the bill for quick meals, relaxing between parks, and a good nights sleep. It is not fully equipped to be a home away from home feel, where those homes have all amenities to cook AND bake, along with extra linens and towels, pool toys, where you are enjoying the home more vs being out more. Uniqueness: Only body towels, pool towels are provided, two hand towels and one bath mat. Face towels, more bath mats and kitchen towels, you would have to bring from home or purchase. This might be an inconvenience if you are trying to pack light (with airfare and luggage being expensive) or you don't want to waste money on things you already have at home. We did fine with using the body towels. Heating of the pool can only be done before you arrive, there is no flexibility to add it later. If you bake, there are bake pans but no measuring cups/spoons. Bdrms use lamp light only Opportunities: Cleaning staff do a good job cleaning the home, however they have not corrected the food splashing's on some of the walls that another review complained about. This is not managements fault this is cleaning. Everything under furniture was clean, no dust or bugs, was fresh on arrival. We also hooked up our laptop to the projector as the SONY remote to use was damaged to access movies and the owners were made aware. The other remotes for the speaker and for the projector worked. A laptop connection with Bluetooth to the speaker fixed the gaps! The resort is nice, the community pool being free everything else costs $. Surfing $60 for 1/2 hour, arts and crafts cost $ too. Can't bring food to resort pool. Positives: Many pots and pans, silverware, glasses, pancake griddle, blender, well working dishwasher, washer and dryer! Southern-ish exposure pool. Great neighborhood! Manager Emily was quick to respond and amazing! Overall we would stay again! Its a great home for when you are on the move!!

Vacation Spot

The house was located in a nice area. It was missing towels for the kitchen along with hand towels and washcloths for the bathrooms. We had to buy a rug for the bathroom because it was slippery without one. I would say that it needs to be updated with basic needs. You can tell that it is a rental house with the furniture as well.

Great family vacation home in Kissimmee

We had a great family vacation. The house is perfect location to visit all the parks around Orlando. House is just as described. Beds are comfortable although kitchen is very minimally equipped. We paid extra to have the pool heated and it was lovely. Area is very busy and traffic very slow at times.

Great House

We have stayed in many homes and this one is clean, great hang out are, fun neighborhood with lots of different options to keep you busy. I will say it was tough making Thanksgiving dinner because the kitchen tools are very bare bones. But it worked. The only complaint we really had was the water pressure is very low. Every bathroom had poor water pressure. Other than that, it was a great place to stay and would absolutely stay there again,

Stayed here on our visit to Universal. Great location, especially if you are visiting Disney. The place is great, beds are great. The whole community is super quiet. We werent able to visit the club area, so I cant comment on that.

Great home

This is a very nice home and is exactly as described. We really enjoyed the home and the pool. The only negative was the lack of basic staples - toilet paper, napkins, shampoo, dishwasher detergent, soap, washing machine detergent, salt , pepper and sugar.

Perfect Vacation Home!

We loved this vacation home and had a wonderful stay. Very close to the parks and stores. The house was very clean and had lots of room for our family. The community was amazing and loved going to the pool and ordering food and drinks. The splash pad and park was a hit with our kids. I highly recommend paying to heat the pool - it was the best decision we made and felt like we were swimming in bath water! The kids loved it :) I would love to stay here again and can't wait to return! Emily was so helpful and answered all my questions quickly. Thank you!

Vacation 2022

Vacation 2022 was a wonderful trip. The home is very accurate to the photo’s. There were a few little issues that are should be addressed. The pool & jacuzzi area needs to be treated with the dead weeds, there also was not a pool net to clean the pool. Overall the home was large enough to accommodate my family. The club house area and wave pool on the property was also a bonus. I stayed on this resort last year with our family Solara Resort is a #1 place for our family to stay during our Disney Vacations.

Disappointed!

This home is not what you see in the pics. What you will see is stained carpet, stains on furniture and walls with marks on them. Dirty baseboards. Weeds around the pool. Dirty looking couch and pillows. So many, many stains. Faded furniture. Hair everywhere. A home that looks like it has had some rough people in it. I took over 100 pics and sent them to the property people and even asked if the place was cleaned. I had food on the floor in my room. We washed all the bedding as there was stains on it. I have never had this issue with a home and when I reported it I was asked to send the pics and I did and have heard nothing. I should at least get a refund on the cleaning fee because whoever they have cleaning is terrible at their job. When I go on vacation I like to stay in really nice places, this one was not. I am sad to say that I will not be renting from this company again.

Great Place

This place was GREAT. Definitely better than a hotel. It was spacious, lots of room for my family of 6 to spread out. We stayed in the small downstairs guest room and left the kids to each have a room upstairs. Kitchen is big. Pool and hot tub is the best thing. We opted for the pool heat, and it was def worth it esp at night after a long day at the park. They do give you a started kit of supplies, but bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. We ran out and I was glad I always bring that. The only negative is the projector screen. I even went to Target to buy an HDMI converter. I couldn't get anything to stream from my iPad or phone onto the screen, and I didn't feel comfortable logging into any of my accounts through their blu ray player. The port through that would not connect to the screen either. So the kids were not able to watch movies, just YouTube every night. But overall it was good. Would stay here again.

Relaxing and fantastic!

Our family truly enjoyed this home. The open concept kept the conversation going and the pool and spa relaxed everyone after a full day at parks, shopping, or the Kennedy Space Centre. Surfing right in the resort was terrific. Several walk paths available. The photos don’t show that there’s a privacy fence in the backyard. Our only concern was that the sink and tub in the first floor bathroom didn’t drain well. Actually took a few hours to drain. Our family vacations in Florida every year and we hope to return to Solara.

Needs better cleaning

•Bad communication. I specifically asked about getting into the community through the gate and asked if I needed to register my vehicle. The host never replied to me and upon arrival I did have to register and it was a pain. Sometimes the line would be way backed up from other people registering that you had to wait to get through the gate…. Not ideal after a long drive with kids. •There were a few parties very close to the house which woke my family up at 4 am • walls, doors, floor/floorboards dirty, Furniture stained and dirty •No capability to stream from TVs. •no fans or lights in any of the bedrooms (only lamps) and some didn’t have working lightbulbs •pool heat was much lower temp than any other property I’ve rented from (I’ve rented the last ten years twice a year) I paid daily for heat but was told they have a max temp & that there are noise ordinances so they can’t have the heat on on at different times (see my above comment about parties) •the kitchen had no oven mitts, it had only 1 measuring spoon and a 1/2 cup measuring cup, so very limited considering it’s a house with a kitchen. •There are no blinds in the front or rear of house. (front entrance or back door wall) This was very uncomfortable for my family •Wasn’t thrilled with location •some remote controls (for the tv) didn’t work
