"The views and grounds are stunning. The hotel itself has an “old glory” feeling to it, you would expect to run into “Hercules Poirot” any minute and not be surprised :-) The staff is friendly and very responsive. We loved the breakfast (both the quality and the views). We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on our balcony and taking in the views. While it is high above Montreux (800m), it’s easy to reach by train from Montreux main train station or the funicular (cable car) from Territet (a neighborhood or “suburb” of Montreux), or by car of course. The train stop in Glion is just 5 minutes walk to the hotel. The same train also goes to the top of the mountain (2000+ meters high). All together, we would definitely go back there!"

"We drove and had a parking spot directly outside the front of the hotel. Upon arrival I asked if there was any upgrades to our original room which the hotel accommodated for a small fee. We was blessed with perfected weather and had an excellent view of the lake which made great memories"

"Great stay here. Easy access to train station and main town with promenade. Staff are very helpful and there is always someone at reception. Rooms are large, with balconies and very clean. We paid for breakfast which has a large selection. Would stay here again."

"Such an amazing hotel! The pools are beautiful and the views are outstanding! The hotel room was huge and spotless! We loved it and will definitely return one day! Thankyou for an incredible experience of Switzerland! My dog loved his trip too!"

"Amazing mountain view. It was breathtaking to wake up to the view and have coffee/drinks/meal on the balcony. The apartment was well equipped with Pots, pans, utensils, knives, scissor , wine bottle opener fridge, dishwasher. Plenty of room for 5 of us in the family with kids to stay. Loved it! Staff were friendly and someone was available on the front desk. Only thing was there was no room service / cleaning like standard hotels. That was expected when you rent apartment style stay."

"This place confused me. First of all, it was cheap. In the area, hotels were going for 5-6x what this hotel went for. I was going for one night, by myself, only for a short time, so I figured how bad could it be. It wasn’t bad but it kinda confused me, lol. First, no air conditioning. I thought I saw AC so I booked but that was my mistake. The lady who runs the place is a little peculiar but very nice, and very helpful. I rep an artist who was playing at the Montreax Jazz Festival til 5am. When I returned at about 5:45, I realized I left my key in my room and she woke up to help me. Very nice. She insisted that I stop for breakfast (it was included). I did even though I should have been sleeping. And she was delightful. It is definitely the affordable option. With AC in July, that’s rough but it was cool at night when I was there and there was a fan so I was fine. I’m not sure I would stay there again, but that’s only because i probably could have afforded to go somewhere else with AC. But it is a good affordable option in an area where there aren’t many affordable places - especially during their famous music fest. I would recommend for the right people."
