「The apartment is beautifully restored in a historic building, in the dead center of the walled city (old town) of Avignon, within 3 minute walk to the Papal Palace. There is an incredible view into a landmark basilica from one bedroom.
Some precarious stairs to the second floor (3rd level from the ground).
The communication with the host and instructions on basic issues like check-in and WiFi could have been a bit more streamlined.

「This Avignon apartment has been nicely reworked in white and black colors that show the original stonework of the old building. It was a treat to stay there. The kitchen has all that one might need for short or long stays. The beds were quite comfortable, though the pillows were too big and heavy. Good heat in the winter (we stayed in January). 「We had a delightful visit to Avignon, using all three apartments offered by this host. The apartments were spread across four floors and provided plenty of room for my family to spread out. As the listing states, it is eclectically decorated with lots of odds and ends all over. We could never locate the laundry machine, but there was a great laundromat nearby. The location was superb for exploring Avignon.」
