「Nicer than the pictures—we only got to stay one night, but we would return when we travel through Bergen again. A plus that it had an elevator instead of having to get our luggage up the stairs. 「We had a difficult time checking in. It was very complicated since we arrived a bit later than anticipated. Finally they sent someone but this person only spoke Russian so it was difficult to communicate with them but they led us to the place. That was tough. However, we LOVED the place. There was lots of room for the 4 of us. Amazing big kitchen for cooking. Loved the balcony where we spend time when it wasn't raining. Nice sitting area but watch your head on the low beams. "The hotel is big with lots of rooms but the rooms are arranged in a way that there are lots of corridors and it may be difficult to locate a room. Rooms are clean and stylish, with reasonable space in this expensive city. Room facilities are also good. However, staff if the reception is not helpful. We asked for their help to call taxi to go to airport on our date of departure but he seemed not willing to do so. Although he agreed to call taxi for us, we eventually waited for half an hour with no taxi coming. The staff was not willing to help us follow up with the taxi company even on our repeated requests. We eventually need to find taxi on the street on our own. Service is a big issue."
