“We loved the layout of the hotel close to pool and staff were fantastic!! Breakfast was great, we had a very enjoyable stay!”

“Wasn't much to like we booked 2 nights only stayed for 1 as we decided to drive the 3 hours home then try and slerp in the room again. Room was musty smelling and hadn't been dusted in a very long time. Beds were uncomfortable, dirt or something in the pool and and hot tub that didn't work. The continental breakfast was the highlight and that was average at best. Had other family coming to the area and told them we wouldn't recommend staying there”

“The staff was accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere is rustic, relaxing, and looks and feels fresh. Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed taking the paddle boards out onto the lake.”

“It was the cutest modern motel. My husband and I last-minute planned a getaway to Detroit Lakes for our anniversary. I found Beachfront Haven on the “Visit Detroit Lakes” website in places to stay. It was clean, cute, cozy, affordable, and we felt safe in the area. It is across the street from the lake, surrounded by amazing restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!”

“We rented the King suite for 5 days and upon arrival, were intrigued by the log cabin look of homey feel even through on a busy road. The room was very clean with a nice lemon scent. We immediately felt right at home as the King suite had a separate bedroom from the large living space. We were not sure how to contact housekeeping as they definitely didn't bother us daily, however, they were present around the property each to ask for fresh towels and a change of the garbage.very friendly, we……

“The room was nicely remodeled, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was great and there was room for everyone to find a table. The only area for improvement was the cleanliness of the hallways, and carpeting, which did not smell so good. Fortunately, as soon as we entered our room everything was very nice. Hopefully, they will make the hallways as nice as the rooms soon.”

“Easy to drive to the lake, adequate breakfast to fuel the day. Our room said it would sleep 6 when I reserved. When we got there it was a king and foldout sofa. We were a party of 5. Requested a rollaway, but it never appeared. We put one of the kids on a pallet on the floor.”
