The sidewalk layout of Osaka is a little strange (they also walk on the opposite side of the rest of the country) so it makes a little weird getting to this hotel's lobby from the train station. It's a budget hotel so everything meets expectations. The building is older, the staff don't treat you like VIP, the amenities aren't as great. It was a bit of a surprise that they didn't wash or replace our used cups & glasses. They replaced our tea and sugar but left the dirty mugs that we used to drink it. The A/C is older so it acts a little weird as well. Good things: They upgraded our room for my Expedia Gold. The room was larger than expected and has a decent bathroom. It's walking distance to the famous Dotonbori and lots of restaurants/shops. Overall, it is a good value conscious choice in Osaka.
