Private onsen by reservation. Free beer and noodles along with other snacks each evening from 4-6. Larger room than many Japanese hotels. The staff is fantastic. Free shuttle to the train station. Be aware if you are walking with luggage there is a major hill to climb. Call the hotel and they will send a car anytime...

"I had an excellent stay at Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East. One of the hotel's biggest advantages is its outstanding location directly connected to JR Sendai Station, making it incredibly convenient for travel, sightseeing, and getting around the city. There are countless restaurants and dining options nearby, offering everything from local specialties to international cuisine. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of shopping centers and many attractions in and around the station area, making it a perfect base for exploring Sendai. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The hotel facilities were modern and well-kept, which made the stay even more enjoyable. What truly stood out was the friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone I encountered was courteous, professional, and eager to help, making the overall experience smooth and pleasant. I highly recommend Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East for its excellent location, easy access to dining and shopping, clean accommodations, and exceptional hospitality. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Sendai."
