BLACK MOLD PLEASE read!!! the supervisor I dealt with who pretended to give me a full refund, she had no empathy nor care during this situation she pretended she couldn’t hear me on the phone so she could hang up, etc. They would pretend to transfer me and just hang up, laugh on the phone in the background etc.
This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When I checked in, the first room they put me in reeked so strongly of cigarettes that it gave me an immediate headache. I told the staff, and they moved me to another room.
The second room ended up being even worse. There was visible black mold around the window area and walls, the room smelled damp and dirty, and the air quality was so bad that I later started coughing up black residue. The room was clearly unsafe and completely unsanitary.
When I reported the conditions, the staff initially agreed to give me a full refund because the room was uninhabitable. But afterward, they tried to pull a fast one by only refunding my future nights instead of the night I had to leave early due to the mold. They acknowledged the issue but then refused to follow through on the full refund they promised.
On top of all of this, the staff were unbelievably unprofessional. They kept ignoring my phone calls, pretended to transfer me to a supervisor, and then hung up on me on purpose multiple times. At one point, a loud alarm was going off between 6 AM and 8 AM, and staff walked around slowly w
