The location was ideal - only 3-5 minute drive from downtown Alpena’s attractions and 3 minutes from the beach. The host was responsive and wonderful to work with. The check in and out process was seamless. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Alpena! "

"We had a great time at staying in the cottage in alpena. We came with our 3 year old and had a nice time exploring the city. The house is outside where most of the main attractions in but only a 15 minute drive. We went to the dinosaur park, Connie’s cafe, the old and new light house, the thunder harbor museum and shipwreck tours! There is not air conditioning there so a fan is a great idea to bring. I was a little unsure from the listing if the water was accessible from the cottage, there’s a smalll spot down the road that would be good for paddle board entry but not beach access for swimming. There weren’t instructions for check in and check out but Amy was so communicative throughout to help through the process. "
