“This is a wonderful place. It is a cozy but towering space. The loft has what feels like a secret cave into an even cozier space. There is a huge back deck overlooking a wonderful yard. Although this is a private apartment space in a large house holding multiple spaces, it felt like we were all alone. We loved it. Communication was friendly and simple. The hosts were very accomodating. We can't wait to come back :)”

“Easy to find and check in. The apartment was historic, and the art was beautiful. The place was clean, felt like home immediately, was well maintained, and kitchen and bathroom amenities were bountiful. Internet wifi was fast (I had to upload large video files and did so quickly). I appreciated the communication prior to check in, and the written instructions and local tips in the host's guide book. Downtown was a quick 8 minute walk and very safe for female traveling alone. There are several……

“My stay at the Artist's Sweet Spot was excellent! Customer service from the hosts & owner was prompt. They got back to me quickly on all of my questions. Accessing the property was seamless too. I highly recommend this property!”

“The VRBO is a large penthouse loft. The decor was modern, luxurious, and comfortable. The VRBO has a rooftop hot tub and outdoor game and relaxing space. We enjoyed the large walk in shower. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Fairfield is an eclectic experience and this Penthouse is perfect. You'll enjoy your stay.”

“Clean, convenient, spacious”

“The place was comfortable and clean and the AC worked great! There are a lot of stairs, if you can't do stairs will not be a good place.”

“We loved this perfect property. We met and enjoyed this sweet hostess, Mindy. The place was fantastic and we so enjoyed our entire stay. It couldn't have been a more relaxing, clean, and welcoming place. NOTE: We had a lot of difficulty with finding this property. We are from many states away from Southern Iowa and Northern Missouri. Plus, we are senior citizens, so we struggle with new ways to book places to rent and how to communicate with others. Younger renters would not have struggled to……

“Very nice cabin with a rustic atmosphere. Loved the view of the river. Very friendly host!”

“Have stayed here before and will come back again! So quiet and clean! Love the shelter also. Very nice host!”

“Probably the nicest facility I have ever rented. Spotless in every way. Unique decor was fabulous. Seamless check in and departure. Will definitely look to book again.”

“Our second stay at the property. Our host thought of any items we would need for our stay, including snacks and coffee. This is now our place to stay when visiting family in Iowa. Thank you!”

“Host was responsive and check in and out was smooth. Love how close to the lake this property is and good parking. Good WiFi connection. Property could be cleaner. There was leftover moldy potatoes wedges in the oven that I had to clean out. Main thing I did not like about this location is the train that came through every few hours throughout the night and day. Day was fine but very disruptive to sleep at night.”

“Cozy cabin with a fantastic view of the local fireworks.”

“Such a great house, everything was fantastic, host has all the small thing taken of for your stay, will for sure be back!”

“Just as advertised”

“Nice little house close to everything. Kitchen has everything you need. Backyard is nice and fenced in.”

“It was quiet and relaxing, a perfect mini escape”
