“This is a small hotel, one hour south of Marrakesh. It was a nice drive through a couple of villages and slowly climbing but you're in no way at a significant altitude. I asked for a car to take us from our hotel in Marrakesh. That was fine but in hindsight I should have arranged it myself and probably saved myself half the 70 euros I did pay. You could certainly arrange pickup from the lodge by someone from Marrakesh but we did use their (different) man, who drove us back and was friendly. I……

Food better than we expected - we were 2 of just 4 dining so the room felt a bit 'forlorn', but this is clearly a very popular place in high season. Allow plenty of time for checkout - management were not on site so any confusion has to be sorted by phone. Staff very friendly and willing to help but we would have appreciated some details in the room about organisational issues eg that water would not be replaced in the room but was readily available at the bar.
