“In February we stayed here in a Delux Room called Toubkal. A lovely large room with dual aspect views of mountains. We returned in September 2026 and booked another DELUXE room. This room was not at all DELUXE! It was half the size and very shabby looking. Tired decor, mouldy curtains on balcony, ripped tablecloth, cracked masonry, poor quality floor tiles all in desperate need of renovation. An awful room name door plate 'Tachbart' made of a plastic sleeve with white printer paper inside,……

“Great experience.
The location is ideal if you’re heading up to Toubkal by main route.
The staff were absolutely wonderful. They were cheerful, extremely polite, and made me feel genuinely welcome the whole time. It really lifted the mood and made the stay special. They were also happy to prepare food for me - late, after dinner time - which was a big plus.
The room was comfortable with a clean, basic, private bathroom. Everything felt well looked after and relaxing after a day on the……

“It is a nice, quiet break in the madness of the valley. The gardens are as advertised, the food was fine, the staff was helpful. Like everything in Morocco at this price point, it is old and dirty if you start to look in the corners or try to use the facilities. Totally adequate for what it is.”
