Le Ville
This is an "adult property", not a proper place to stay unless one is looking for a discrete place to have sex. I feel I was bamboozled into making this reservation and I doubt I will ever see my money back. For the record, it is a very long distance from the center of Ouro Preto.

A beautiful hotel with friendly helpful staff, pleasant bedrooms, and an outside pool. The complimentary afternoon coffee and cake is lovely idea.

Hotel Solar do Rosário
The staff, the food, the atmosphere are all great. Very clean. This was our second time staying there. We haven’t really used the other amenities such as the pool yet but hope to on another visit.

For the price the property is decent. The bed was comfortable and coffee and pastries are served for breakfast. Expect no heating during the winter months of the southern hemisphere as it can be cold.
