Great location
The townhouse is located above one of the shops on Main Street. It was fun to people watch from the balcony and enjoy the ocean view. It was not ready for us at 4:00 and when we did get the address and code to unlock the door, we arrived to multiple bags of used linens blocking the entrance. Easy enough to toss them out of the way though. When we went upstairs we noticed a foul odor which we could not identify so we opened the windows and doors to air it out. Good thing we did because we figured out the next morning that someone had left a gas burner turned on but not lit on the stove. Not the owners fault and I’m sure our experience was just an unfortunate combination of oversights by the cleaning crew. Luckily, no one was hurt and we went on to enjoy our stay. Seabrook is an in credibly charming little town and the location of the rental made it easy to walk for coffee in the morning, explore the shops and go to the beach to watch the sunsets. The evening before we left the air conditioning unit on the wall leaked and water ran down the wall and puddled on the floor. We sopped it up as soon as we noticed it and tried to contact the after hours maintenance number but were not able to reach anyone. Again, not a big deal to sop up the water and put down a garbage bag with towels on top of it to try to avoid damage to the floors. Unfortunate series of events aside, we will definitely return to Seabrook again and would consider renting the same unit.
