Had a great stay

We loved being able to sit at the table, have coffee and have a view of Haystack rock. Not to mention being able to walk tight out and be in the beach.

Winter Beach Trip

Property was as described with a location that can’t be beat. The sand had dunes built up next to the house, but this was disclosed as a possibility. Will definitely stay here or in the area again.

Great stay at the Black Pearl. Comfortable, well stocked, and great location. The only thing that was less than optimal is the bed pillows are in desperate need of replacement but that's a very minor issue and did not affect our enjoyment of the property.

Over all it was a nice stay. Tons of wind and a Hugh sand storm it cover the car I sand ! Took several washes at a car wash just to get it off the car.

Weekend at Pacific Beach

Location location location! This property is literally on the beach, about 1/2 mile walk to Cape Kiwanda & Pacific City town area. Quaint small house, decorated in a “Pirates of the Caribbean” style. Small kitchen, moderately stocked with older appliances, difficult for more than 1 person to work in kitchen area. Adult beds very comfortable. We did not use the children sized bunk beds. Beach chairs would have been a nice supply but we made do. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but good to know that the house is small and dated.
