Perfectly equipped home in Pacific Grove, and well situated, too!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been visiting Pacific Grove and Carmel for more than half a century, and this is by far the best place that we've stayed. The location couldn't be better, but importantly, the accommodations were stellar -- from a fully equipped kitchen, to comfortable beds, to portable chairs and picnic-ware for cocktail hours at the beach. It was perfect!

We were first visitors to this property

The location of this home is very near the water in Pacific Grove. It is quiet yet a quick walk to beach and rocks. House was extremely well set with all new furnishings and equipment. Beds very comfortable. Beautiful linens and towels. Kitchen terrific...everything you would ever need for food prep. We had adult family members visit and they enjoyed the home as we did. We had a problem with a moldy sofa. It was removed and replaced quickly. There were really noisy gulls nesting above the skylight. Three chicks matured while we were there. The adult gulls were a mess and very noisy as they walked on the roof. We could not use the main deck because of the gulls. Unfortunately when the young gulls fledged they were killed by what we guessed to be raccoons. I called Susan at Sanctuary asking if someone, a gardener perhaps, could clean up the dead birds on the backyard walkway. This mess was never cleaned up. Other than the gull problem I would recommend this property. It is perfect for dinner with six. We all noted how fresh and clean this home was. It's hard to find a home in PG that doesn't smell moldy. This home is FRESH.

Excellent holiday home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very happy month's stay here at Reef Break. It's one of the best Californian coastal holiday rental homes we have ever stayed in - and we've been in quite a lot! The home is very much as shown in the photos and was spotlessley clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and was a delight to cook in. Good bathrooms and a extremely useful laundry room. Beds and bedrooms are all comfortable and the location is very quiet as well as very near to the ocean. Both the Rental company and the owner were very helpful when minor problems arose:these were dealt with swiftly and effectively.
