「This was a great location to access Mt Rainier Nat’l Park early before the summer crowds. The house was very clean, kitchen was well stocked, and king bed was super comfortable. The porch and yard were inviting, and we had a nightly visit by blacktail deer and fawns. Highly recommend! 」

「The house was adorable on the inside and had everything we needed. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of some safety issues with the stairs. The steep stairs to the attic lack a handrail and the older members of our family didn't feel comfortable going up there. I was nervous about our 2 kids going up and down those stairs as well. The 2 sets of steps leading from the kitchen and dining room into the living room are scary too. The second step is short and the edge is curved making it...

「This place is a gem. We had a family gathering and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Very nice, comfortable, and gorgeous location, environment. The kids love playing pool, hiking and soaking in the hot tub. We will be back!!! 」

「Comfortable, upscale, private, easy to access. My family of 4 had a great stay here while visiting Mt. Ranier. We are frequent travelers and have high standards. The only thing that wasn't great was the quality of the bed pillows--if you are particular, bring your own. Everything else from the furniture to the kitchen to the hot tub and the games provided were excellent!」

「Clean and cosy . Was perfect for our family of 6 . Be sure to carry a bug spray . Lot of mosquitoes in the area . Location was very convenient to get to the paradise parking lot in Rainier early in the morning . 」

「This was a great place to stay for visiting the park. Loved getting into the hot tub after a full day of hiking and the house was very clean. Our only issues were that the WiFi wasn’t working so we couldn’t watch tv at night, knives in the kitchen are so dull it was hard to cut a bell pepper, and the furniture and beds/ pillows were not comfortable. We loved the yard for birding. There is a steller’s jay nesting nearby and we saw lot of Ravens, sparrows, swallows, finches and warblers....

「We came to see my son and his family while visiting Mt Rainer, we had a large group and your house fit us well. We were surprised to be greeted by a herd of elk in the backyard on our arrival, but we knew that was what made the stay special. The layout of the house made the sleeping arrangements for the kids a blast. The fact that the house came with everything we needed made us feel at home, unfortunately our stay was brief and we were not able to take full advantage of the resort amenities,...

「Spent three nights enjoying the peace of Packwood while enjoying the splendor of Ranier during the days. Property is nicely hidden and off the beaten path. House could have been cleaner and better organized, yet felt perfect for our time there. Enjoyed dinners on the deck from the grill. Kitchen had all we needed. 」
