Mountain View Lodge is amazing place to stay while visiting Mt. Rainier or its surroundings! We really enjoyed staying there and will would be happy to come again. The lodge has different rooms and cabins for all group sizes and families. Some of them are even equipped with a kitchen area. So, whether you are traveling alone, with friends, or with family, for one night or a longer stay—you'll find a great accommodation here. A huge shoutout to the team at the lodge—everyone was so welcoming and kind! The location is great for visiting Mt. Rainier. Packwood is the best gateway to all the Mt. Rainier entrances, but there are also many other things to explore around the area. Additionally, the Lodge's location within Packwood is perfect—easy to find, and close to cafes and stores. Despite being in town, it is pretty quiet and close to nature. You may even spot elk grazing around (I wish we had seen them ourselves!).
